My incident is with First Line Security,installed last summer and havenot used it once,I unplugged it.I have been ill,I can no longer work,solife has been rough on me.HillCrest,Davidson & Associates are just nowattacking me.A year ago I looked into this Alarm Buisness after signing,I wanted to opt out from the 3 or 4 day contract that was for 2 yrs.I think.I told Mr.Salsa of this so called Firm when the upper number appeared on my handset.I am out of touch on a couple of things,but I cannot help it,I am no longer able to work,and I feel like I am being punished for my accident.I could only afford $30 a month,Mr,Salsa wasthrowing out options left and right.On Tuesday 10-6-09 I gave him my DebitCard and code to remove the following funds,instead he ran it for $1500then $1200,then $1000 and my $500 was taken by the company.I acted faston this as it was a good portion of my up coming house payment and theability to finally take care of a few things.I have been in Fraud fromseveral places down in TX.and CountryWide Home Loans,I never did wrongto my mortgage and it has been a battle but I was right.Now here comesthe firm (supposibly)and later in the week of this,Mr.Salsa has refusedmy calls.One of his partners said that I gave them permission to take out$500 cause I gave them the code on the back of my card but for only $30and now I am a Liar.They are to record verbal confersations in issues like mine,I also told them to sue me cause I was scammed last summer.It has been over a year truthfully but like I said and what I found outfrom the salesmen the day after,said he stopped working for the Alarmcompany he could only tell me to watch out from them,as they are a veryaggresive company.I hate to say it...but the so called firm seems to beall Hispanic and very rude.I see doctors,I am trying to make a come backit is obvious FirstLine Security added a Attorneys Firm.I have not beengivin any chance to work things out,and like I stated I have never usedthe Alarm,and banded from opting out.

I received a call from this Company regarding an alarm system I cancelled over a year ago. I cancelled the system after the contract period ended but the company, Protect American, tried to claim that the cancellation was invalid and they were going to charge me for another contract year. I thought this was cleared up a year ago. I asked the caller who he mumbled something I couldn't understand. When I tried to explain that this was cleared up a year ago, he kept interrupting me and told me that he was going to report this to the credit bureau and "annihilate" my credit. I asked him to please place everything outlined in detailed in the mail to me and he claimed that they already did this (did not). I once again tried to speak with this man but he was so rude and interruptive I terminated the call. I called the number on the caller i.d. back and this is how I know the name of the company. I have just been extorted, threatened to ruin my credit, told I was going to do what he said or my bill would quadruple and loose in court by Protect America and There collection agency Hillcrest Davidson Associates...Allen Ford was the Associate in a 35 minute conversation...I bought a Protect America security system over 3 years ago and paid cash up front for the system and a 3 year contract...I moved 6 months before my contract was up and called and told them I didn't need their services any more...I was told I couldn't get a refund for the unused 6 months I had on the contract at that time...I informed them that I wasn't looking for a refund but just wanted them to know I wasn't going to use them where I was moving too...Nothing else was mentioned by them at that time that a 30 days notice had to be sent in by me before my contract ended and it needed to be a written notice to discontinue the contract or it would be automatically extended for another year... Starting in April I started getting bills for $30.00 a month...And nasty letters regarding paying my bill...In September 09 I contacted the company and asked what The bill was for...They said they didn't receive my stop letter and the contract was continued for another year but they would stop the contract then if I sent a fax regarding the stoppage and they would stop the contract...I did this...The first of October I received a demand letter for $179.70 giving me 15 days to pay the balance of be turned over to collections...I paid the bill by check and they cashed it also on the check was Paid in full on both the front and back. During this time I received another letter from Hillcrest Davidson and Associates wanting $479.20 for the balance of the bill...Today November 9th I got a call form them demanding, threatening and told I would do what they said or they would ruin my credit 200 points. I had until, the end of the month to pay a one time offer of $250.00...The outcome if I didn't that he would wreck my credit on the spot, tonight, if he couldn't get me to agree today and the court costs would be an additional $3000.00 and they would win because things weren't documented with any of the conversations I had with Protect America...I had until the 30th to pay...As I had signed an electronic contract saying they could do it and it was binding...I would not want to see anyone else in the same situation and would let everyone know Protect America and Hillcrest Davidson Associates would use any unethical means to get, extort, scam or what ever you want to call it to get money out of someone...

Left a message to call - returned the call and I asked for an explanation of the business. Person that answered asked me if I knew a couple of people, asked for my number and was very, very rude. Said "it was none of my business who they were."

I recieved a phone call from this 866 number on my cell phone and there was a message saying that it was very urgant it was regarding my land!!I was also told that they were giveing me only 1 day to contact them or leagle action would be taken against my property. The next day I called them back only to find out that ADT had told them that I had a debt with them and refused to pay. I lost it and asked him what right he had saying it was about my land and home and he very rudely said "well you called back didn't you" Yesterday the same guy DEVIN from hillcrest called back I explained to him that I am a single mom and my son has a birthday and 2 kids for christmas to buy for and let me know he also had kids not to pull the mom card then proceeded to let me know that nobody said I had to go all out that my "kid"only needed one gift and a smile. Don't call my house and tell me s**t on what to do for my babies,and he also gave me advise on 'find the father if i know who he is and collect child support so I can pay him" I pay my bill and there was a mis understanding with ADT and my auto withdraw from my bank I didm't know that I had to sign a paper before they would allow the withdraw now Hillcrest wants me to pay them 1200.00's plus there fee's. I have never had someone disrespect and hound me the way these people do. Look out they will call everyone you know and they wont stop... I know everyone has a job to do and it's not always a fair one but don't call someones home treat them like s**t on the bottom of your shoe and then ask for money...They should call thier company Hillcrest Davidson and [***]****"s

I also recieved a call from other people in the office saying that it was regarding my home and that they could put me in jail.. I have filled with the BBB and other companies sent to help people being took by offensive people like Hillcrest "helpers" I had one lady say that she would see if Adt would take a settlement amount. after about 2 seconds was bake on the phone saying that they wanted the full amount. I had nothing but troble with ADT first they said that they didn't recieve the install payment in which the installer left with cash in hand from my house. I called to let them know that my alarm did not sound and thats when they told me that they had not recieved one payment and that the alarm would always sound but the cops and fire department would not be contacted so after finding out that all the time that i thought i was protected i was not, I wanted out of the contract, I have not heard anything from ADT now all a sudden Hillcrest and assoc are calling and demanding that I pay 1400 and saying that a clock starts after first contact and that my bill was rising as we speak and that i needed to pay to keep further add on's. I told them to do what ever they felt but I was not paying for something I didnt use. The phone calls have not stopped. Devin from Hillcrest let me know that from their office it looks like I am not responsible enough to pay my bills. And they wanted to know when to look for a payment I simply said you can start looking today but you might not ever find it, I still believe that we are all americans and we all have rights but I personally cant stand getting hurassing calls and when you get calls from India and such, I mean really as bad as we all try to make ends meet and your sending your money to other countrys to pay someone to call and put people down and make them feel as low as it go's. I hope their calls are moniterd so that the next time they call and tell me how to pay my bills, what to buy for my kids and how I should get foodstamps and use the extra money I have to pay them, I am waiting and will say enough that they can play their little tape for the whole d$m office to hear.. I have had enough with the office of Hillcrest and Trash mouths I wonder how they sleep at night after what they put people through hell all day.

I couldn't help but to see that out of all the comments made on this site you were the only one to say that you were a collector, Your job must be hard because there is alot of people out there that run stuff up and then not want to pay, I know some in my own family! But have you ever thought that maybe some of the people you call my not be making excuses. Maybe that single mom really don't know how she will feed her kids that night, or maybe that person just lost a loved one and had debt up to there ears, all I am saying is that there are people out there that tell collectors like yourself the truth Just to hear I DON'T CARE PAY YOUR s**t, I am one of those people that has a few things come up. Like having a son turn 4 on the 10 of Dec, and a three month old and a man that decided it wasn't what he wanted and took off, and saying that every person is a loser and don't pay thier bills well it's about as wrong as saying all blonds are stupid or that all collectors are scum suckers with no soles.

exactly the same thing happened to me, they will not come out and fix the mess they made of my system, lied about the contract service length and for a while the police was coming to my house on the daily basis to answer a false alarm.

I have also been scammed by Protect America. I just settled with Hillcrest Davidson. But protect America is a scam company, monthly payment with no monitoring. something should be done about this company.
