I would be willing to give my account of events to be forwarded to the attorney general. Its ridiculous. We are being attacked, paying for a service not worth a penny. Its all a façade to make you believe you are protected. Its only a money scam

I tried this too. I know for a fact my alarm was never monitored by them. My cat set it off more than twice. No calls were ever made in connection to me, police or a fairy. But I have been unsuccessful in my arguments. I was told I should have called them to advise my alarm was going off!!!! Something must be done about this ripoff of a company costing us money for no services rendered.

pretend that he was calling from a federal agent on a bill that was paid off years ago, then when I told him I still have the receipts and will see him in court he hung up on me

I NEVER, EVER answer a call from a number I do not have saved in my address book. If it is that important, they will leave a message then I will return the call if I choose to. I have had my current number for over 3 yrs and collection agencies are still calling the Miranda person that I can only surmise, had the number before me. I have called the companies back to let them know I am NOT the person they are looking for and how long I have had the number. Only 2 of them have quit calling. The others? Well, I assume they are idiot employees going about the illegal collection practices taught to them by the likewise idiotic people running this company you speak of because they continue calling. They even think by using different 866 & 800 phone numbers they will throw me off and I will answer but like I said, I do not answer numbers I do not have attached to a name or company in my book. They even call from numbers with the area code of the city in the state I live in but never leave a message anymore. I still don't answer it. I know it is a collection call for the one that had the number before me because I am not behind on any of MY bills, never have been and I have no credit card debt since I own NO credit cards.

Called at 8:30 AM,blocked the call!
