Legit. Did not call them back and called my bank instead. There were fraudulent charges. Thanks to this robocall a new card is being issued.
THIS IS A LEGIT COMPANY!!!! I had this verified by my Credit Union!!! I had gone and used my debit card in excess on a Saturday and it was high amounts. I don't normally do that, they put a hold on my card until I called to verify that I was doing the spending because the activity was unusual. I called and everything was fine after that!!!
I received a message but was not familiar with the bank or ending numbers from the card. I called with the case number and was given an option to press if they had reached the wrong person - which they did. It is legitimate and even if it is not you, call and let them know.
They called me asking for someone that I do not know. The bank is the bank that I use. The strange thing is I have received messages for the same person from debt collectors. I have a unpublished number and unlisted. Go figured!!!
well this is in fact a real number and not fraud at all. Your bank is just full of idiots.
I checked with my bank this Monday morning after receiving calls from this number all weekend. The bank assures me it is legitimate. It was about a card the bank had already cancelled because it was compromised but someone is still trying to use it.
The call comes before the fraudulent charges start- it is the scammers trying to obtain more information from you. Even if you don't answer the call, they will still proceed to use your account. I called my bank after receiving the scam call, and confirmed that they do not use a 3rd party fraud detection system- 45 minutes after the scam call came through, fraudulent charges began to appear on my account.The timeline leads me to believe the call is part of the scam- considering the fraudulent charges did not start appearing on my account until AFTER the "fraud detection company" called me.
THIS IS A LEGITMATE phone number for the fraud department, my card was compromised, thank goodness they called me.
Received a message that there is fraudulent activity on my account. They saw two amounts under $20 attempted to be charged from the United Kingdom. They named a purchase they saw that was legitimate. I named the last time I used the card. They said they were going to discontinue my debit card and that I should contact my bank. I called the bank. My bank is not aware of financial institution fraud detection Center, and told me that there is no hold on my account. The bank felt this was a scam. They said I had the choice of cancelling the card or monitoring the account. I am choosing to monitor the account.
The automated message I received when I answered said that I needed to call right away or the opportunity to lower my credit card interest rate would expire. This is BS. I can call (and have) any of my credit cards and ask to lower the rate or increase the limit at any time. The few times my bank actually detected fraud they stated they were with my bank, none of this mystery caller BS.
