They call three times a day . Leave no message . Why do these companies call and leave no Message ???

Answered the call and I was put on hold by an automated voice. Waited about a minute and then someone picked up. Did not identify themselves or the company. Just asked for a Cathy Silverman. This is a business line - no one in our company of about 200 people have that name. She simply said, after a long pause, "oh, ok" and abruptly hung up.

This number was given to me by a woman named Thamena who stated she works at Equifax info telephone call line. I reached her by dialing a number while I was trying to enroll in the free Premier ID plan. While trying to enroll I was not able to download the terms and conditions and kept getting a proxy erroe message. The woman stated the site was having problems and gave me this number to call. I can't help thinking Equifax doesn't really want to help consumers whose info was accessed illegally online. All and any attempts to deal with them are complicated and based on misinformation given related to contacting them such as phone numbers and addresses.

I received a call from 877-394-5975 on my cell phone I am with Verizon Wireless they have where you can block any 5 number's for 90 days if you receive a call from someone who do not to talk block them.

They are not voilating your HIPPA rights that has only to do with medical information, however I understand your frustration as she is violating your privacy.

Try and tell debt collectors that debts over 7-10 years are null and void! I have 3 companies that think otherwise, and they insist I pay them. There are even 2 that expect me to pay them under a name I don't even use anymore back in 1995! I just tell them that person doesn't exist anymore; yet they still harass me and expect me to pay anywhere from 250 to 60 dollars a month. That's money I can and do not have!
