Rec'd call from 877-394-5975. Caller ID said Carson Smithfield but it said "mobile". I do not know why they are calling, did not leave a message. Why would a business be calling from a mobile phone???

why dont you just pay your debt, or answer the phone, fdcpa states that if contact is made they cant call again for 7 days, you wouldnt be getting the calls unless you charged the amount...pay

Keep calling, no message, which tells me they are hiding. Never heard of cardworks

Total harassment. They call many times each day and sometimes leave a partial message to return their call. Starting at 8am and all day Saturdays, too. If I had any intention of speaking to them, they egate it all by this harassment.

From what I'm reading here it would make sense that a collector for Advanta would call me.They call everyday.They sued me over a credit card debt 2 years ago and I responses to the suit and a court date was set.I showed up in court and they did not show up so the Judge dismissed the case without prejudice.I have the signed form from the judge.Suddenly they have been calling me everyday..Around 6 months ago they called and I told them that the case was dismissed by the judge and they gave me the address to mail a copy of the dismissal form.I filled out an envelope and was ready to mail it to them and then decided that it probably is always better to NOT have any contact with, or give any information to these types of people so I never sent it.Now they arfe calling me several times a day and I never answer the calls but today they woke me up at 8AM on a saturday so I answered and they asked if I was who I am and I said no.I asked them who they are and they asked who I am then just hung up.I just got an app for my phone called "Call Filter" ( it is the #1 free blocking app) and I put their number in there so hopefully they will now be blocked.....I just hope there is nothing more they can do.

i am getting 5 o more calls a day .at first i took the call they told me i had a debt with advanta for 6300 .they told me to pay 67 dollars a month and to send the payment to a p,o box in tampa florida i request a letter and he told me they could not send me a letter only if a request one after the first payment .when i hang uuup i started thinking in the conversation .it didnt sound right .they call me 2 o three weeks later asking for the payment and i told them again that i need a verification with my information in writing they told me that they had sendit .i never receibed anu letter from them they are calling me 3 o 4 times a day im not anserwing the phone .i wrote letter today requesting a verification from them but i could not get an address i have a p.o box but i called several places with no luck nobody hnows the address.what do a do now .
