I am not in the habit of answering calls from blocked numbers, but an "Unknown" number was showing on my caller ID and has been calling every day about 3 times a day for about a month now, never leaving a message, I finally answered, and was told they were looking to get in contact with my wife, but were using her maiden name. They refused to leave a message or any call back information. Through talking with my phone company I was able to get the number that had been calling, it was this number, the next time I answered, I told them I knew their number, then I was given an extension for my wife to call back. I told the woman that my wife does not have an account with US Bank, and I demanded to know what this was in regards to. She refused and terminated the call. The next time I answered I informed them that our number is on the do not call list and that unless they will let me know what this is regarding I would file a grievance, they ended the call, I filed a grievance like I said I would. Tonight I will have my wife call to see if we can get to the bottom of this, when I have called US Bank for my wife they have refused to give any information to me. My wife closed her account with them before we were married and this is why they only have her maiden name. I have the final bill showing everything closed and zeroed and if this is a sales call of some sort I will be extremely irate. I cannot stand dealing with US Bank as their franchise banks in our area all seam to operate independently and we have had nothing but trouble dealing with them which is why we closed her account in the first place.
People are just trying to inform so the "screw you" was very unnecessary. I work in collections and depending on state they aren't allowed to leave messages. Check your states laws. And if they leave a message they can't call again that day. Also, if you would rather mail call them and tell them to only communicate by mail they will kindly process your request. Happy holidays and Jah bless!
This number goes to U.S. Bank Collections Call Center. If you want the calls to stop, maybe you should pay your credit card bill on time. The number is real, and it does go to U.S. Bank. Yes, they do have other co-brands that have partnered up with. It is not customer service, it is the collection's department of U.S. Bank.
The idiots wont stop calling. all my payments are on time and everything. they call, let it ring once, and hang up. what am i supposed to do?
If this is US Bank, they started calling me as soon as I made my monthly payment. Six times in one day-starting an hour after I paid my bill online.
Woman called early, and I simply got the number and the name of the company (which I had never heard of). When I called back, the woman said she was from "card services" and needed my credit card number. I asked which card she was referring to, and she said she couldn't tell me. I said, "have a nice day" and hung up.
not credit collectors but are, scammers trying toget your credit card number ,under guise`you`are late with payment, may`they`have`your ccard`number they`ask, says you gave them wrong acct number? they cut in as 3rd party on US bank Phone pay, try and steal your identity as well`as your money, payment, mailed to them, and get pissed when youdon`t give them the numbers!!!!! I called ban on cell Phone at same time,The`bank said to hang up with this number???? file FCC complaint, called 6 times in last 2 days
US BANK collection. They had all my info correct, address, balance, etc. Told them I was making the payment online as we spoke. The operator warned me against this. I asked her phone number and said I will sort through my records and call back, she warned against this.Still I think it was legit and the operators hate their jobs since all they do is talk to (mainly) evasive credit types. USBANK probably puts their worst customer service people here (since the ones being called are the worst customers). Oh well.
I've been getting calls from this number off and on for a few months, and they somehow know my name, address and cell phone # which is how they've been trying to contact me. Its someone named Michelle from US Bank, they leave a message but won't tell me what the call is about. The last few days I've received one to two calls a day and they leave me messages everytime. These messages claim I 'URGENTLY" need to return the call, and that I'm running out of time. I've never answered the call, because I've never done business with anyone at US Bank or the bank itself, never owned a home, never owned a credit card, never taken a loan out or financed anything with ANY bank or business. This is clearly a scam, but how they got my information, I don't know, but I'm concerned about potential identity theft.
"Pam" from "US Bank" called my uncle leaving a message that they were trying to reach me (as if this were something important). She left the number 877-838-4347 as the return number. My uncle forwarded the message to me. Instead of calling the number left in the message, I called US Bank Directly (number available from their website) and asked what this was about. They confirmed the number in the message was from their "credit services" department and that this was very strange that they would call my relatives (not even in the same town) looking for me--where did they get that number? The woman I talked to surmised that they were trying to get me to sign up for a credit card. I asked her to remove me from their call list and mailing list. She obliged. Because of such obnoxious behavior on their part, I may think twice about keeping my accounts with them...
