Duh!-If one would call back the number the person answers GMAC; therefore its a bill collector looking for a payment!

The number belongs to GMAC

They have called several times and asked for Mr. Rich. I keep telling them they have the wrong number. So the saga continues. They keep calling and it won't stop.

Received automated message on voicemail to call this number. I did not call back.

calls and leaves automated message saying it is GMAC and leaves number to call back. they call everyday, at least 3-4 times a day and I dont even have anything with GMAC anymore and have called back and told them that and the calls still dont stop.

It is not GMAC, this company is located in the Phillipines so the operator said & once I started questioning her, she hung up on me. I do not have an account with GMAC and I never have. They conveniently asked for my ss#, address, & phone number though.

It's very well possible that where the operator was could have been outside of the US, but I assure you they are calling because whoever they are trying to contact is behind on their payments. I work for a call center and they are calling all day looking for employees who are no longer employed here. And I tell them everytime they call that the person(s) they are looking for is no longer here and they still call. You personally don't have to have an account with them, it's possible that the person they are looking for gave the wrong # and that's why they are calling you. If it's GMAC just call (800)200-GMAC and tell them to do a reverse look up of your number and have it removed.

received several calls from different numbers. This one today I let voicemail pickup and got "please hold for a very important message" then someone from a call center pickedup.

It is GMAC all you have to do is call the number back and its says "thank you for calling GMAC"......

GMAC - you are late on a payment.
