I've received 3 voice mails from a recorded message on my cell in the last 2 weeks from a jerry mckenna saying they've received a fax order for a bad check,left a case number & to call this number because they have papers they to serve me with and if I didn't contact them they would serve them on my job or at my residence. I call the number & received a recording for Johnson & York. I believe they have my info from resume I posted online. this the 2nd incident where some criminal has tried to scam me with scare tactics. I'm going to do what I did with last 1,call back & start asking for account number,the name of company & they're contact at the company,date /amt of the supposedly check if I get that far. Last time after the 3rd question they hung and my face after switching the call to another criminal in they're supposedly office to answer my questions. They'll stop calling. PAY THEM NOTHING.

Who is using this toll free number? Anyone knows?

I have also recieved a call from this # 4x today alone. If i answer they hang up, and they dont leave messages.Possibly a telemarketer?

I called this number back today and it seems they were a collection agency. I am not sure what kind of collection agency they are as the message was not meant for me.

The call came in on my cell number and I had a message from a Mrs. Scott, saying she keeps calling and leaving messages and needs to hear back. I called, not knowing anything about this number and having looked back in my "missed" calls for 3 months, not seeing this number again. The woman who answered would not tell me anything about the company, nor would she even say the name clearly and slowly enough to hear her until I gave her my number. She said they had no record of my number, acted real suprised and was then very helpful. They are Ace Cash Express, and were working on a collection. "Sorry maam, she must have misdialed", was all I got.

Apparently Ace Cash Express. They are some sort of a collection agency, whose employees can not dial the correct number. Ate up my cell phone mins leaving a message for someone I never heard of. When I called to get them to remove my number, they were less then helpful and said they had no record of my number. They were flabbergasted that one of their employees would misdial.

Dumbass people asked for my social when i called back a missed call i said are u serious [***] u, what are u calling for she said do i know cynthia and hung up when i said no. i asked to be taken off and they wont do it.

I had a voice mail on my office phone, looking for a colleage of mine, claiming urgency, talking too fast, only giving the phone number once, etc. I had to listen 3 times just to get the number. When I googled the number, I came to this site. I have dealt in the past with collections; this is not how collection agents operate. The lady, Thelma Ribas, said they were based in Houston, TX, fwiw.

Calls and leaves no message. I put my # on the DNC list earlier this year but they keep calling anyway. Beyond annoying.
