My father has been receiving calls from this number. he works 5am(or earlier)-8pm(or later) during the summer. these calls make him very unpleasant. should I ever find this person/persons... they should expect pain.

Tonight I got a call from 1-888-888-8888 and the caller ID says Alliance Carpet. This took place between 11pm and 1130 pm. Once I answered the phone and said hello, they hung up.Knowing my number is kinda new and from Vonage, I wonder how they got it. I did some research online. I came across all of your posts. Here are some ideas. Many of us owe dept. to one place or another. Many of us filled forms out for something online, maybe not to purchase something but to request information. Well, many places sell thier contact information to other sources such as telemarketing. This is what I believe is happening.Other searches on "Google" show a place in Pittsburgh for pregnant women.I hope this assists some of you.

Rec'd call from 888-888-8888. Lots of noise in background... then called terminated. Trying to figure out from where they got my number... realized I recently placed an ad in newspaper. Any coincidence?

Well, I'm so angry! Bank of America has called me using two different numbers (800-943-3022 & 866-228-8944) 8 times in the last two weeks! I've called them and they just pacify you...they don't give a damn! The Do Not Call Registry is useless! This has been going on for 6 months!

OK so I just received a call from this number again! The first time they called I didn't think much of it, but then they called back again at 5:15AM, this is not a good time to call someone! Both of the times I answered, there was a brief silence (5 seconds or so), and then the call disconnected. I tried calling back the number but was told I dialed a number that could not be reached by my calling area. WTF is this!! How could they get a cell number?? They aren't in the phone books as far as I know! I'll makes sure to record another entry if the calls continue.Has anyone else received this call on their cell phone?

Got a call. After a while a young girl came on and hung up after she realized that I am tired if cold callers

got a call from this number at 12 am and then a few hours later a little before 6 am. Each time I picked up they hung up right away..The night before I also got a call from a restricted number 3 times in a row and each time I picked up they hung up right away. Just about a half hour ago I got a missed call from a restricted number. I want to call my phone company to see if they can find out who this is.
