they called my wife three times told her she won some money and they neded her bank info she hung up he called back and left voice mail threatning her and gave her our exzact addressee freaky

Yea had some strange calls from this number as well. i never answer them though , my wife did once and said noone was on the line. so i just ingore it.

Keep receiving these calls - I do not answer them but how do we stop them.

Got a call from them yesterday during work, and 2 calls today, one during a meeting.

After receiving similar calls from this 888 number, I looked up these posts, and found them rather disturbing. I'm comforted to know that I'm not the only one. I then looked up the FBI website and found lots of info on calls like these...check it out! www.fbi.gov

Was the agent's name "Becky"?

I've been getting calls from this number the past few days during the day. I havn't picked up. I've ALSO been getting calls from this other number from florida lately and I finally decided to pick it up yesterday. They were saying they want to send me some package etc etc. and wanted to charge me $1.95 to ship the package to me... I said no and they said they'd call back in a few days. A$$holes... Another scary thing, THEY ALREADY HAD MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER! SO BE CAREFUL! I went and closed that account right after I hung up the phone.

Forgot... type "phone calls", "telemarketers" and the like into their search.

I live in Maine. It show 888-8888 on my cell. I assigne it silent ring tone as I normally did to all this type unwanted calls. But, it keep calling my iPhone. I finally need to block it.
