This is a Credit Union SPAMMER. They will take YOU FOR EVERY PENNY YOU HAVE. DO NOT CALL THEM.

I received a call from this number and they announced fraudulent activity on my debit card, stated my name and bank name. I called them back with the case number they gave me and sure enough, there were fraudulent charges on my card. I didn't have to give anything to them on the call except the case number and my phone number. I checked my bank account and they told me the same things I saw that were fraud on my account. It's definitely legit!

Legit number. I called my bank in reference to this and they actually transferred me back to the card services to resolve the issue.

If you know it's a "legit number", why did you look it up?

Called and left a voicemail on my direct office line looking for James Hudson and attempting to alert him that his credit card cannot be used. They left a number to call and a case number to reference. I am not James Hudson and my direct office line has been assigned to me for about three years now, so there's no way anyone legitimate was using my number for a credit card. I deleted the message, and if they call back will tell them they have the wrong number.

This is a 3rd party company hired by some financial institutions. Not a scam in my case.

I thought this was surely a call from a scammer, so instead of calling this number back, I called the number listed on my credit union's website. Lo and behold, they were indeed trying to call me about my card. If you're leery as I was, just do the same to be on the safe side. But yeah, turns out it's legit.

Claims my card has a hold on it and to call them

I am replying to CWG40 post. My boss just got a call from this number and I relayed the message to him as he is out of the office. Told him I wasn't sure if the message was legit or a scam and he responded "Not a scam". Just to let you know I am not a shiller. I do know what that means. You have a great day!!!

The number 8889187313 is listed on my credit union's website (if they're listing a scam # on their site, I should really switch banks). While it can be spoofed (people should never give info over the phone, instead call your credit union directly), the call/voicemail I received said they were "Falcon Fraud". I called the # back just to see if it was consistent, and I got Falcon Fraud. I called my bank using the # on the back of my card, and he confirmed they use Falcon Fraud for fraud detection. There was in fact a fraudulent charge on my account (I even saw it in my banking app), and I had my credit union clear it up without involving Falcon.While I'm sure there are "shills" that troll websites like this, don't you think it's irresponsible to dismiss anyone who doesn't 100% agree with you as a "shill"?
