Its legit everyone. I contacted me today about some trouble I was having with making a credit card purchase. Contacted my credit union later that day and they said it was a service of theres to protect from fraud.

I read the comments above and took the advice and called the bank directly. While they didn't verify that the above number was connected to fraud they did indicate that there was a fraud alert on my account. It would appear then that the message was legit. HOWEVER, I would reiterate one of the comments above and call your bank directly.

I just got a call from this number at work and they identified themselves a visa member services and said there was suspicious activity on my Credit Union account and wanted to verify the charges. They listed five charges that I didn't make and one that I did. They also gave me the number to my last cell phone that I no longer have (which is why they called me at work). Long story short, they removed those charges ($375 worth), closed out that card, and instructed me on how to get a new card sent to me.

Rang a couple times, I answered, otherline hung up. I recieved a busy signal when I returned the call.

Legit...got the same kind of message, called my bank, and they just wanted to verify a couple of online purchases I had in fact made in the last couple of days.

Calls and hangs up...

For my husband and I this was a legit call. Someone in another state tried to charge a hotel room with open account meaning they would be able to charge more than just the room they would be able to do food, alchoho,l movies, etc. My husband did not give out any info, they verified his birthdate and even named of current charges we made to see if those were legit. They cancelled the card and are issuing a new one.
