It's not a scam, it is Kohl's. Stores have nothing to do with call centers and collecting payments, of course they are going to say it's not them, because its not the people you called, its from a call center trying to collect past due payments. They will call relative's to try and get hold of the person that owes them.
I worked for kohls they don't care about holidays or Sundays make your payment or they will call from Wisconsin and Texas hourly
Still calling now and then. I have asked them to stop. It does for a while. Then begins anew. The pleasures of a prepaid cell phone!
I got this call. When I called back it asked for my account number of my social security number. It did not state the company. I did not give any information
Yeap, this is Kohl's collection services calling about unpaid charge card debt. They do call from about three numbers. One is from Tyler Texas and the other two from Milwaukee Wissconssin which would be corporate headquarters for them. They are like bloodhounds...very annoying and they call at least twice a day.
I just posted a minute ago,but if anyone has problems with these annoying calls, contact the Federal Trade Commission and your state attorney generals office and file complaints. There are Federal laws that prohibit debt collectors from calling at unreasonable hours and at inconvenient numbers, places and times. If they call at your place of employment and you tell them to stop, then by law they are to stop. If they don't they are in violation of Federal law and you could sue them.Read a copy of the (fair debt collection act.)
there should be a rule for these type of calls. you have to leave a message. If you are a business trying to get in touch with me, why would you call and not leave a message. It 's auto dialing. That needs to stop. I have a problem with a bill or whatever, leave a message and I will get to you. what is the purpose of auto dialing and hanging up?
