Not all debt collectors are rude, obnoxous, or threaten you, but many are and this forum is about them. I have delt with both. Since I lost my job I make a whopping $1000 a month, cold weather saps 250+ for gas heat, electricity 250 more, water bill 75, kids school 100+, food 250+ gas for job interviews, phone bills....... I asked RRC (a debt collection company) if I could make small payments to clear the account and the "gentleman" informed me I had to pay it all "NOW!" I asked which account this was for and I was told he could not give that information over the phone. Bull noway am I giving my bank information to a company that obviously is out to cheat you...

Rudest people in the world, they yell at you and even stated "well if your family member did not have a good enough job to pay his debt, he should have gotten out there and found another job". I asked if they were aware of the unemployment rate in the nation. Well that's not their problem. This from a young man claiming to be the oprations manager. REALLY! I have never been spoken to in such a horrible manner, not professional and threatens to come after the family member. These are not the kind of people anyone should deal with.

I have recvd a couple of calls from PDM Inc. not all the time. But they woriking my nerves talking taking legal matters and contacting my place of employment to garnish my wages....contacted my mother and provided her with to much info that didnt concern her....

These guys have been making threats towards me from a debt they claim I owe from over 5yrs ago. I already told them to take it to court as I have lawyers to deal with them. Their case is baseless and I settled my debt with the apartment complex and they kept my deposit. They also admitted to me they owed me money because they over charged me on rent for over 6months. Then this guy from this so-called collection agency threatend physical viloence against me several years ago. I welcomed him to come on over and he better bring a big gun with him. These guys are scumbags like most collection agencies are. I dont owe them money and they know it, its past the legal time limit of collection and yet they are still persuing it. I have recorded conversations of the threats made and the vulger converstations I have had with them so if I ever do go to court over it then I will walk out no owing them a dime and they will be paying me.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well lately. Someone by the name Dan had called and said he was going to place the unpaid debt onto my credit report. Who are these people, when I google their name, it takes me to their blog.

People just dont wanna pay their bills, but yet they wonder why the economy is so bad ? LOL ! Plain ridiculousness !

Trying to make me pay Woodlake Village,who did not want to give option for my rent payment without late fees and told me to get out from the aprtment...And then they charged me a bill to pay by PDM.

Debt collectors are worthless they went to colledge and they don't even have a real career making 7.00 an hour ha!! they can try to threaten me but I don't see them coming to my door what a bunch of idiots!! Ha Debt collectors think they are tough on the phone but they are bunch of babies that have mommy problems Boo Hoo nobody cares everyone thinks that debt collectors are jokes.. Like I do

I received a call from a Frank Johnson with PDM. He stated that an apartment complex that I recently moved from has a claim against me. I told him I was surprised at that since I gave a 60 day notice and it had been 60 days since I moved and I hadn't received a letter, email or phone call from the apartment complex stating my husband and I owed money. He stated that I had to pay the outstanding balance or they would report to the credit bureau as a BAD HOUSING CREDIT. I attempted to make a payment arrangement with him and at the end of the conversation he added a " But here's the thing." You know what that means.....He stated that I had to give him my checking account number and routing number and post date the payments. No way!!!! I told him I did not feel comfortable with that since I never heard of their company and they are not located in the same state as I am. I offered to make credit card payments or money order payments and he said they didn't mean a thing and they would report the bad housing credit anyway.

They called my job number and then my cell phone and neither had a message...ugh. I wish the Gov't would do something about these calls/agencies and shut them down. I know I have a bill due but I know one thing I am not giving you my card info. Dang if you already have my job number and cell what else do you have?
