Do u get paid to say this? passing the test might not be impossible for a nerd who memorizes the book word by word, without having to understand a thing about home-staging.

Hi,I wished I saw this information before I signed on with Haverhill. I was hounded by these folks after contacting them from seeing the ad on HGTV. I got called one right after the other. I was currently in class for my real estate license and wanted to finish with that first. I was told about a deal where I can get as low as a 50 and still get hired so I signed up. First, I didn't know everything and asked that I get delayed one month. By the time I finished with all my state exams, I was ready and found that I lost one month because I was on the "clock" and had to have finished assignments 1-7 with just a few weeks to go. I was livid and let Haverhill know this. Then when submitting payment via credit card, I found that my credit card had additional charges for foreign exchange that no one told me about. I got my date moved and with a lot of hard work staged three different homes and got four trades persons. My family and friends thought i would have gotten the highest marks and I didn't. I got a 7 out of 10 because I took a picture of one of the homes I staged from a different angle so that everything could be seen. If I kept the picture the same, you would not have seen anything. Then I took the tele-class and finished that part. I then took the test and ran out of time experiencing some technical difficulties. I elected to take the test again and this time, I finished the entire test. I was able to find the fill in the blank answers as well. The last two questions were worth like 7 to 10 points where you had to write an essay in a timed environemnet? Didn't make sense. As a licensed realtor, the main marketing edge for me was the "as seen on tv" and what was spoke about in the tele-class (Stagers Studio). Well, I found that that marketing plan doesn't exist anymore. I tried to go on the link and I called and asked and was told it no longer exists and that there is no marketing plan to replace it now. This was the last straw and I plan on reporting haverhill to the FCC and BBB. If anyone else had a bad time, please report them to the BBB and FCC so that others can be warned. Thanks.

Seriously, isn't there anything that can be done about scams like this. It's like Herbalife that I got into and regretted.

I will get involved to the best of my ability. I will contact the BBB and FCC since we can only communicate via the internet. I will also contact the US Postal Service since we have to mail in materials to Canada. Please, let your voice be heard and stop this insanity. They should not get any profits from innocent people.

Oh my Gosh!!! You are right I just finished the test and got my Accreditation but my test was not 80% in order to get hired in fact I thought i did better than 70% in my test and I get see who marked it and why I didn't get my 80%. But if I want to re-take the test I got to pay $55 more. I still can't believe how I been played I worked my @#@ off for this course. I'm still SHOCKED!!!

Portland office is only a mail box. No offices, mail is forwarded every monday. I called the building Manager to get this information.
