They now use an automated system - the call is a recording telling you to call them back immediately to resolve an urgent issue.

Well, there punch of collection agents on this line for collection agency ( MJR Collection Services Ltd. ) the funny thing is sometimes they use diffirent names if they leave a message to make it look important to call them back... like this is " Citi Credit MJR Office " and I'm Mr. Sh$t .. call me back at ...... they have different numbers: 905-671-4151 or 877-669-4935 they are in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. They represent many different companies.

I received a call from the same VERY RUDE idiot. I told him I did not have funds, he hung up on me abruptly. I called back. When I did, he called me a 'loser' (everything in ' ' is directly from him, no embellishments). He then said that he can't see why I can't pay the money. That I was an 'idiot' and I should be able to fix it up. I responded that I didn't want to talk to him anymore, that I wanted a supervisor. His words 'You can't talk to anyone else, you have to deal with me and me only'. My fiance then took the phone because I started to have an anxiety attack in disbelief. She got on the phone and this Josh fella, he insulted her and asked if I was her son. (which is funny because I had already told him previous that my mother is terminally ill with leukemia(when he asked why she couldn't give me money)) My fiance said she wasn't, he then said 'oh, what is he, your booooy friiend??' He started speaking to her as if he was an obscene caller. Saying such things as 'you shouldn't have been doing things to yourself when you were younger'. Basically, a number of inappropriate sexual comments and insults. I can't express how upset she was and how much I want this taken care of and this Josh fella reprimanded and punished to the greatest extent of the law.

these guys don't stop calling....... this one jerk told me that he was from the legal department @ mjr and that they were gonna sue me if i didn't pay..............

They keep calling even though they are not licensed in NB and the account was paid in full $ 204 and closed with HBC in 2006. I have asked them to contact me through letters only and to CC consumer affairs in their letters. Now they want $1242.99. They call every day at 8:34 AM.
