Two very nasty phone calls in two days. One from some belligerent jerk named Sebastian. Another from an equally belligerent alleged manager jerk who identified himself as Steven. Bully boy tactics don't work on me. Calls are automatically logged by my provider. Get ready with your license numbers, boys.
Have received a few calls from them over a the last week. It seems they have my CTC account which is due. Explained to them that I have reorganized my finances through remortgaging to clear all debt and get a fresh start. I told them I would expect a cheque would be sent out to CTC by mid week and they seemed to freak out. They told me they would like to talk to my Mortgage company so they can send the cheque directly to them but I guess they told them to go away. They needed my permission to even talk to them about me. All that to be said I guess I see what happens when I pay off the debt Crappy Tire and let them figure it out. All I know is I will have paid it off...
Idiots keep calling for someone named Misha Robinson. They've been told before that they have the wrong number. This has not sunk into their thick skulls, as they call back about once a month. They seem like the most inept collection agency ever.
Incessant bother. They are like rabid dogs. The big banks provide them with improper, inaccurate, insufficient information. This MJR company then sets out to harrass, to bully, to threaten individuals. They will NOT STOP. Call the bank/company they claim they are working for. Go way up to the top, CEO, Board of Directors, etc. We ALL are entitled to a safe haven in our own homes! This is Canada, EH!...
well a collection agency doesn't have to stop calling just cause you tell them not to... and its not considered harassment if you're lying lol especially when the newphew of yours or whoever DID indeed register their credit card or line of credit or whatever using that phone number. if collection agencies stopped calling everytime someone pretended not to know the debtor... sign me up to be the worlds next biggest debtor lmao... i'm gonna get like a hundreds and thousands of dollars from canada's credit companies... and then tell them all i'm not the person over the phone and tell them if they call back its harassment.... and then just be rich as [***]
I received 27 calls from a third party corp. So I finally call back.....to be told by a disgruntalde employee I owe CIBC $2338 DOLLARS FROM 2005. OK so now I ponder this a minute... hmmmmm how could this be I ask myself . I'm 34 born in 1981. Opened a CIBC account at the innocent age of 15 with my mothers consent and signature. I closed it at the age of 17 .....now I was never good at math but.....? How could this be? Well let me tell you I have never not even until this present day have had $2000 plus in over draft. As a matter of fact $300 is my cap...I never have asked to raise it nor do I ever go over. I honestly think these people chase anyone who had had money issues n try and dupe them into thinking they owe money....but wait...they will slice 60% off right now...LMFAO. society is broken and the system is out of sack. 2005 I closed that account in the 90's never hear a word until 2015 ....10 years later I get these calls? DO NOT PAY THESE LOW LIFE BOTTOM FEEDERS A $ .....its a SCAM .
I recieved the same call, only this one came from 1-877-669-4935. The same guy has called me SO many times. It's a second party collections agency..they are the second step before your claim is actually sent to collections. Now, I actually used to work for a collection agency, so I know how they work, what you are allowed to say and not allowed to say. I've never experienced such harassment in my life! The guy was very rude, telling me I owed this much right now!, I explained to him that the full balance was not current, only the past due. He kept telling me I'm still young and why would i want to screw up my credit?...Then he told me to ask my friends and family for the money after I just finished telling him I can pay such and such amount this week, and the following and so on. He said thats not good enough! When i told him to stop asking me stupid questions because I used to work for a collections agency, he told me to hold on and put me through to his supervisor who was dumber then the first guy. I said theres no need for me to be talking to you, I already made payment arrangements. ( when you make payment arrangements they are not suposed to call you again until after that arranged date) They called me the very next day asking if I had made a payment and AGAIN asking me to pay the full amout. I promptly asked the stupid man if he could point me in the direction of someone who sh*ts out $100 bills, because I DON"T!....they are still calling me!
You're right. We should just record the calls, after sending a cease communication letter, then sue them in federal court for maximum damages. That we we can be as rich as [***] ......ROTL and LMAO.
