They have been calling twice here every day since early December of 2010. Now there are a couple of problems with this because aside of our mortgage and summer home mortgage both of which are almost paid off, we have one credit card that is paid off in full each month. So we know they aren't calling for us. It always comes up as private caller too but the message does say it is from MJR. So I call blocked all private numbers but my husband was recently hospitalized and the hospital has a private number when they call so I took the block of temporarily. When I answer the call it goes to dead air space or a voice message telling me to leave personal information, account number and message so I did. Apparently Bugs Bunny is going to be getting a lot of phone calls. Tomorrow if I have to leave a message it will include the phone number of the CRTC and OPP in that order since they call twice a day. Then I might just get creative where I direct the phone calls to! Right now with my husband's health problems my stress level is at an all time high so let the jerks keep calling. They asked me to leave a message so I am more than willing to oblige their request!

MJR Collection agency keeps calling here. They are calling for a person who does not live here any more.MJR has been told that the person does not live here and not to call back to our number. They have been calling for almost a year with different agents calling. The last agent to call. Call yeatersday Jan 12/09 and was rude, harrasing, and threatened to keep calling. She did exactly what she said she would she called again today Jan13/09 @ 8:53am. If this is not harrasment I don't know what is. By now everyone @ MJR should know that the person they arte looking for. Has not lived here for quite a while. Plus MJR employees and management should know by now that they are not suppose to call our number 519-846-2925.Sincerely Tim Bergin

These guys have been calling here for a while asking for some guy who doesn't live here. Clearly what's happened is that some [***] gave them a made up number, which just happens to be my home phone and now they're calling here for him. I think I actually got through to the guy who called today and convinced him that this number is not associated with the person they're calling for because we've had it for like, 6 years. Anyway, be aware that there are people out there trying to skip out on their debts and leading the collectors on a wild goose chase. Be firm with these people when they call (if like me they're calling the wrong person by calling you.)

Got a call June 30, 2011, asking for Crystal, told him no one named Crystal lives here, he said is this and started with telephone number, and I told him no that is not the number you are calling, he laughed and said so the phone is wrong. Phoned, three more times after that. I picked -up and hit the number button continuously and then hung up, and five minutes later this number calls again. Get a life who ever you are. The number you keep calling is a business line, not personal

they called and said I owed Zellers $ 300.00 for a supposed purchase I made in June 2000.I said I never had an account with Zellers. So she verified my birthdate. I said yes that is it. And she said your address was --------- in 2000? I said yes I lived there but not in that year. So she said must be someone has stolen your identity. You better call Trans Union ( a phoney website ) and ask them for your credit bureau. I got online and the first thing that popped out was identity theft. And for $ 7.95 they will give me my credit report. I was suspicious as I did not want to give them my social insurance number. So I called my bank and told them all this and they said good for you. When you go online to this site that is when they find out all your information through all the questions. Also MJR told me I will call you back in a couple of weeks and check in with you. This is all well choreographed. The bank said my credit is perfectly clear and when the bank did a check on my credit they said thank God you did not fall for this scam. Also they prey on older people which is people like myself. She also said she will try and get me a copy of the invoice that I charged at Zellers. Shouldn't they have it in front of them already ??

I have a $4500 debt from AMEX that had gone to MJR for collections. I got behind in the payment and it went to collection. This is the third company trying to collect. Right from the start I had explained I will pay the debt but they need to reduce the interest from the 29% that they jacked it up too when I became deliquent. When it first went to collection they wouldn't even give me the interest rate. The first $1000 I paid off only went to interest so my actual debt to them increased? Apoparently now I am not being charged interest and they want to strike a deal to pay it off. Problem is if I had the money I would pay it off without the deal. They call me frequently and I have suggested being able to email them as I would be able to contact them more regularily. I also request a statement but they will not provide it. I understand I owe the money and will pay it back but why do these companies jack the interest rates up so high you can never afford to pay it back. Seems backwards if you ask me. Drop the interest, they will still make money off me and I will get it paid off. Does anyone have an email address for MJR?
