This number IS a collections agency. They have bought your debt and will harrass and phone you for up to 7 years until it is paid. You are NOT a deadbeat. You are in a financial crisis, like I have been, and you are stressed and panicked. I have been there. First of all...when they call, don"t ignore them. Talk to them and explain your situation, calmly and carefully. If needed, have notes by the phone. Do not give any more information than they already have (eg. name and phone number). After you have stated your situation do not engage in, back and forth, debates. Try to arrange an amount / month that will not hurt you. Do NOT let them scare you, they do focus on fear and intimidation. Just know your rights. They cannot call more than 2x's a day, and no more than 3x's in a 7 day period. They cannot call before 1:00pm and after 5:00pm on a Sunday. They cannot call before 7:00am and after 9:00pm on any other day. Try not to be hostile when they call, I know it is hard when you are scared. They cannot seize your assets. They do not want to go to court, but they will try to threaten you with that, just stay calm and try to work with them. Yes, there are horrid people that call and threaten, but if you deal with it in a calm manner, it will be you controlling the situation. Life will get better. If you can afford $20/month then do that, but DO NOT let them harrass you into a higher amount. Just do what you can afford.

we've developed a strategy as a company to send back an sms, 100+ for each call they place ..'this company will not act as as vicarious collection agents on your behalf, nor will it confirm, nor will it co-operate, unless u have a court order or garnishee, nor will it make any disclosures, or confirm or deny status of clients u seek, please contact them by other means .. u r instructed to stop' .. the s m s will convert as text to landline, in their end, so they will get get robotic messages thus tying up their phone lines, if everyone did this as payback on behalf of others, they'd be so unproductive and frustrated.

I am a fraud credit card vitcim back in 2010. The collector called Cachia from this company have called me now and state that I own that credit card bill and DEMANDED and FORCED me to pay for the bill before the deadline that SHE GAVE ME. This case has already been report to police already. Even Equifax and TransUnion have my fraud bill removed already which proof that I am not the debtor, but they still call me and harrass me with no proof or even paper which suppose send to me first by-law before they call me. I have talk to some professional in the same industry and with my lawyer have some advise from them as well that the way how to collector try to collet money from me is not right and she could lost her licence. Please be aware of this company and dont let them scare you or harrass you if you believe you dont own any money from them. And ALWAYS ask for some professional advise.
