unsolicited calls on cell phone

Got a call from this number and didn't answer. No message.

i have had the same problem. however, no one is there when i answer and the number says disconnected when i call back. They did leave a voice mail, but it was silent. i don't know why they said it originated out of the US bc my phone id says its from Elk Grove, CA. This crap has got to stop!

This pitch used to concern me, now it just angers me! I thought that I was regestered as a do not call number?Isn't the FCC doing anything about these violations?

Yep. I am so tired of unsolicited calls -- whatever happened to the idea of opt-in. I think Europe has that. They can publish your information on-line, they can call you, you can't make them stop. Well, it HAS to stop. Elected officials, you'd best be listening. Want to be more popular with your constituents? -- FIX THIS! This last time I was on the phone with my elderly mother-in-law. Had to check on the caller as my son was actually hoping for a call from California. What nonsense! Yet, the people who are supposed to be protecting us, who are regulating the world out of everything else, don't claim to be able to FIX THIS? I don't want to hear it -- just fix it.

Just got my first call from this number and thought it might be from my daughter in Sacramento. Turns out, it was this scam number. Hope they dont' call back, but I have my doubts. I'll call Verizon and have it blocked.

Just got a call from this number. Hit ignore button so it would go to voice mail. Nothing, so I called the number back and got a recording saying # was a non working #.

I just recieved a call from this number. (916)301-4406. Many times in the past they called with a recorded message saying something about reducing credit card interest rate & as soon as I pressed option 9 to speak to a live body to request to put me on the do not call list, the call would hang up. This time it didnt. I immediately requested "put me on your do not call list" & he said "NO". I said "Excuse me". He again said "NO". I asked "are u refusing to put me on your Do Not Call List?" He hung up & the call ended. I believe this is a Bogus & Fraudulent company because when I called the No. back it said the No. was not in service. Report it to the National Do Not Call Registry @ (888)382-1222 & let the authorities put these scammers out of business.

916-301-4406 is a number for Card Services. This company charges you money to lower your interest rate with Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. They state they are not telemarketers because they are not selling goods, however they are selling a service and should be reported for calling you if your phone number is on the Do Not Call list.They will hang up on you when you ask them how they got your phone number. They are a SCAM. Do not give them personal information.

Calls and does not leave message or idenitfy who company or individual is.
