I recieved a call from this number on my home phone and my cell phone and there was silence when i answered it. i called it back on my home and cell line and both times the number was disconnected.

said if I wanted to lower my credit card imnterest rates press 9..

I just received a call a few minutes ago and stayed on the line to speak with someone. I explained I was on the do not call list and then asked where they got my cell number. She said it was referred. When I asked who referred it she hung up last it was a hot potato.

This number is calling my 92 year old aunt about credit cards also.She has never had a credit account of any kind! How do we stop these kindOf people who bypass the do not call list, have you had any luck stopping these calls?I am very worried for my aunt and not sure where to turn for help.

Caller ID showed a call this afternoon from this number when I wasn't at home. They left no message. I have been getting this call weekly from various numbers --- a toll free number, and also a call from the 978 area code. Robocall message is either from Heather or Rachel telling me they have an important message about my credit card account though there is no problem with it. I have stayed on the line a couple times and, when the person at the other end starts the spiel by asking if I want to reduce rates on credit cards, I politely have asked that they not call me because I am on the do-not-call list. It's always total silence for a few seconds before I hear a click. They must train the telemarketers to not say another word after this sort of request. I don't have many credit cards and I pay them off at the end of each month, so the calls are totally bogus. Don't give them any information!

I have been getting calls from this number from ever so often to my cell. I am registered with DO NOT CALL. Then they stopped for a couple of months and today it started again. There should be away to stop these people.

Just received a call today, 6/15/2011 from this phone no: 916-301-4406. I called back and it said "The number you called in not in service...."My solution is to save this no. as "IGNORE" and I'll not pick it up next time.

This is a SCAM. They want your personal details to rob you bank accounts. Banks here in VA paying back in the hundreds of thousands for what these crooks are doing. Alert your bank immediately if you get these calls.
