No message..I am so tired of this...this number has dialed me every day. I even called back..had a beep..then it called me back. says EFLSThis has got to be reported
We get anywhere from half a dozen to twice that number of calls every day from "unavailable", "1", and other such cloaked identities. This number's identity is "EFLF", whatever that stands for. In self defense, I set up my phone answering message that goes the full two minutes that my machine supports; if it went longer, I'd fill up all the time it allows. This has been a very effective way to kill all the spam and junk telemarketers and poll researchers who have no conscience about invading our privacy. The robocalling machines don't wait that long, and human callers just give up. However, in the case of this phone number's caller, a man voice's left us a message after he stuck through listening for the full two minutes. He said, "Get a life. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever frickin' heard. You obviously have no f**kin' friends." So much for good telemarketing skills from the EFLF company. And of course, he's wrong. We have lots of friends. And of course we've told them the secret code to punch in so they don't have to listen to me for two minutes. Indeed, probably from empathy, some of them have had their acquaintances call because they enjoy the message so much, relishing its method. I think I've been an inspiration to others on this way of effectively blocking junk phone calls. Our system is a Panasonic cordless setup that we bought from Costco. Because it can block only 20 numbers is why I resorted to the long message; our ration of 20 has been filled. The newer machines allow blocking 150 numbers. However, current telemarketing practices are so pervasive that I suspect 150 slots are not even enough these days.
Received calls 4/26/16 twice in one night. I did not pick up and there was no message. CID listed as EFLS. Anyone know what that means?
Called me 4 times today. Same number has called 9 times this week in total and the day is young. Left no messages. If I don't know someone calling showing up on the caller ID I don't answer anymore.
Called on Saturday, 4/18/16 at 8:55 PM. That's a late call for a telemarketer. I didn't answer the phone and they just hung up.
Just received a call t 6:53PM 2/2/16 from this number. Caller ID shows California. I was in middle of dinner & caught the phone on the 3rd ring. I said Hello & they immediately hung up. Normally I wouldn't answer if I don't recognize the name, but have an elderly relative in that area & I thought it was them. Very annoying. :-(
They had a recording with a lady saying what sound like my name and to press one if I was that person. I did and after being on hold for 3 minutes a recording came on saying no one is available to take my call, if it was regarding a notice to collect to refer to the coupon (I have no outstanding debt) or to leave a message after the tone. Never once was the name of the oragnization placing this call given.
