Maybe so, but they are doing after election polling then, because I just got called for the first time today (12/6/2016).
Called several times, hangs up when answering machine picks up. If I don't recognize the name, I never answer the phone. Too many scams and robo calls.
It's a survey company. In my case, they were asking questions regarding the politicians in my neighborhood.
