The usual scam attempt ...its so boring and pointless

12/09/15I received a call from 916-403-3480, Sacramento: Main DA, CA. There was no message left.I just wonder what it is seriously being done about all the scumbags that keep calling people up just for fun.The phone companies should do something about this problem too. They are getting plenty of money from customers without solving this kind of problem.

It appears that these calls are from a telephone polling company called EMH Opinions (which is owned by EFLS Communications, hence the caller ID "EFLS"). Their website is emhopinions.com. You can call the company at 1-800-200-3457 or (916) 443-4722 and ask to have your number placed on their do not call list. If they called your cell phone, be sure to remind them that the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) prohibits autodialing your cell phone number without your prior consent. Let them know about any rude behavior from their call center workers, complain about the hours at which you have been called, etc.
