just got a call from this # with a cash register making noise in the background. a girl comes on in spanish saying congratulations, the cash register just opened.have no idea what that was all about.

As a native speaker of Spanish, I understood what she said. She tells you that you've won a contest for $1,000 and that you have to dial 1 to claim your prize. I dialed 1 just to see what would happen, and I was transferred to another number but was disconnected.

I just got this phone call as well. This is defenetly Spanish, atlest the call I got. Sounds like a marketing call. The "Voice" said, Congratulations you are a winner. Press 1 to get your prize.Not sure what this is about.

i'm in the bay area, but my phone number is eastern california. anyways, just got called from this number. I hung up on accident, called it back and got message that is was not valid number.

It's a marketing scam. I'm not sure what they are trying to sell, but they are targeting spanish speakers. I couldn't quite understand the machine, but I got the "marque numero uno...." or spanish for "press 1". I was sent to a another recording. Somehow or another, it disconnected.

yeah....we received a call too...sasying that we had won 1,000 dlls...and asking if we had a visa or master card...weird....

number called and left no voicemail, saw it on my "missed calls" list...I called the number and got "this number is disconnected" definitely a north carolina area code, I live here in NC, but the "355" I think is a cell phone starter
