Got a call at 8:20 PST from this number. I'm in the interior of B.C. Canada and a 250 area code.They said congratulations in English, said it was a special prize from my cell provider and it asked me to press 1. I hung up right away.I shudder to think what would have been charged to my phone had I pressed 1.
Got two calls, one today and one yesterday about 10:30am CDT. It's obviously a voice-activated recording, of two seconds of noise followed by a woman speaking with a Spanish-like accent. I don't know what it's about because I hung up just seconds after hearing the woman.I received the call on my cell phone. Since my phone is on a pay-as-you-go minute buying plan, I'm paying for every second of the call, so the phone call is illegal marketing spam.
