Got a call from this number around 5:30pm here in San Diego. Didn't pick up.Keep getting more and more unsolicited phone calls in my cell phone. It's annoying!

just recieved a call 2, area code is from NC, #is disconnected, call my cell 2, we need 2 get 2 the bottom of this, its so weird!!!!

same happened to me. i have 857 number as well.

I'm in Boston and got this call too just before 7 this evening. I usually don't pick up if I don't know the number, as was the case this time. I wonder if this stuff happens often? And what is Skype?

It's first time I got it and I am surprised to know there have been many victims of this weird phone# so far.

skype is a Voice Over Internet Protocol service. ie: an internet phone. like Vonage.Has anyone inquired to the phone company regarding this number? Or to Skype?

Yea I got a call to i wanted to see what area code it was from and it said NC as well, It was a woman/operater, you stupid morons its spanish not middle eastern, I was taking a shower a little while back, and i googled the area code and i saw this and what do you know im here to, (lol)She said somethng about im caller number 10, click 1 to claim your prize, then i just ung up.

this is a number used by skype to make its calls...

I got a call from this # at about 7:25 this evening, and then while watching a movie with my family, my mom got a call from the same number. Googled it, ended up here. My mom figures someone got hold of the AT&T database, and is using the internet to make the calls. What service providers r u guys using?
