Some idiot claiming to have "called my house SEVERAL times and I haven't called them back" works for a company called Altas Recoveries. When I called them back, they REFUSE to tell me what kind of company they are until I give them my name and the reason for my call. I'm ASSUMING they are a debt collector and they certainly have NO RIGHT to be calling me because I pay all of my bills ON TIME. Losers.

They keep calling me asking for my Ex Wife. We divorced in 1990, these knuckleheads from atlas recovery will not stop calling. I do live in the area and like the glue idea. I bet it works for car locks too.

These idiots called the CEO of my company telling him they were trying to serve me... He called my boss to tell me to handle my personal [***] outside of the company. I called to see WTF was going on and the SSN and DOB of the person they were trying to collect from didn't match mine!!!!You put my JOB at risk??? WHO THE F*** ARE YOU A**HOLES?!?!?!Lawyer up... we're coming for you!!!

These people at this fraud company are horrible - they are threatening and rude. They took a large amount of money out of my checking account, called people from my past trying to harass them also. It has been a costly mistake on my part having my bank charge me to get my money back. Mr Henry Toser is rude, nasty, mean, and threatening. If anyone else has these people call them hang up right away. They will ruin your life!!!!! I am reporting them to the BBB and hopefully they will get caught!

Thank you for the information!! Our name was used as a reference without our consent. Maybe a new rule should be put into place about having consent before the use of your name. I get a call every day if not twice daily from these people. My husband says they probably get some people so upset they will just the dept. I am determined to get these calls stopped! Not no worry they have been leaving messages of the same to millions of phones. Do not call back it is a scam.

I actually have a debt with a credit company that was sold to a company and then sold to Atlas. I called them to make some arrangements to pay this account on my terms. They never even called me because they had my parents number, in another state, for some reason. Anyway, we agreed on the balance before the interest was added to the account. They demanded me to give a credit card number or a check routing and account number over the phone. I said, no way. I'd rather write the check and fill in all of the info in the memo space to make sure this account will be closed and so there is a paper trail with the signed cashed check for proof. They, then said, no way. It's either this way or nothing. I said I'd have to call back because I don't have my checkbook. They sent me an email with the stipulations but I thought they had to write it and give me 10 days. Should I contact the original creditor? Thanks
