This same number just called my husband's cell... but I'm 100% current on my mortgage and always have been... so don't know why they would be calling. I'm current on everything. Not answering this call.

They just called asking me if my neighbor still lived across the street. Said her name. I was so shocked I said yes. I shouldn't have I guess but it's not like it's classified info either! How hard would that be to find out... What's it gonna be next time? Calling me to ask the bus schedule or what?! Really weird.

I got a call today and they wanted me to verify a relative's phone number and address. I told them I didn't know them (the caller) and would not give them personal information about anyone. The relative lives over 100 miles away. Another relative 1,000 miles away also got the same kind of call. What is the purpose of calling family when they already have information and ask to verify it?The woman asked me to tell him to call 888-519-0028 Ext 3617

If they are being sued, please provide the state, court and docket number. I would be interested in getting informed like you are informed.

I got the same call wanting info about my son who hasn't lived here for more than 18 years. I didn't give this person any info. he hung up on me.

I got a call from them asking for info about a family member. I know for a fact that the house is going into forclosure so they must be looking to serve papers. The got my wife's cell number and my work number (don't know how). I guess the information is out there if you know where to get it...

They are a collection agency.

I worked for Provest LLC in 2008, as it was one of the only jobs I could find. I have decades in mortgage banking, and due to the meltdown I had to take anything. And no, I didn't contribute to the meltdown, in fact I won a whistleblower suit with one company. I fought for decent loan practices.Part of the reason there may have been illegal service of summons is due to the pressure they place on employees... Volume is heavy, not enough servers, and people are difficult to locate. However, Provest wanted to meet their numbers, and make their money. This pressure on employees was also due to the fact the company allowed superrvisors to harass employees. Constant threats of write-ups, public "floggings", yelling, swearing and the most low class supervisors I have ever dealt with. I have been a manager, and this behavior was deplorable. And these managers I had were so stupid they wouldn't even know what "deplorable" meant. It was one of the worst jobs in my life. They fired me for no reason, and denied my unemployment claim. However, I eventually won, and proved how stupid they were to that agency. Lets put it this way, nothing is nice about this company... And they will get caught eventually.
