Provest works as a third party for the atty who is hired by the mortgagor (wells fargo, or any other lender) the send out the process server and provide skip tracin servics.

They do NOT share any buildings w/ David Sterns office. The lawsuit is against that atty not Provest

Got a call from them on my CELL PHONE about a neighbor. I've only lived at my addy for a few months and am not happy that I got a call like this on my personal cell phone. I asked how they got my phone number and was told it was "on file". I can't believe they can find and call your cell phone for information about someone you don't even know!

If they are serving legal documents-their client (whoever the are) should have the information for service! If they don't have the information-they have NO right calling neighbors or friends asking for personal information on someone else.

I just received a call today from (972) 496-8700 Provest LLC (per caller id) Did not recognize it, so I didn't answer. Message was from a girl named "Becky" who said she was from "service?". She asked for me or Mary (don't know any relative named Mary) and asked me to call her at an 888 # with a direct extension to dial and gave me a reference #. Kind of hard to understand her, sounded young and talked way too fast. I did try calling back, fortunately I got her voice mail and hung up. Then I Googled Provest and ended up here. Definitely sounds fishy. Too many scams out there these days.

I have been receiving phone calls from the number showing up as 972-496-8700 having the name of Provest LLC. When they call me they request information pertaining to one of my "subposed" neighbors. They have called our home multiple times over the past 3 years with the last 2 calls being today. The first time they called today I told them "No, I don't know anything about that person and don't call me again requesting info on any of my neighbors". I proceeded to hang up on them. My phone then immediately rang again, showing the same information but before I could answer they hung up.
