Got a voicemail today requesting me to call back about my deceased mother. She I'd deceased so what the hell do they want?
Theyu called me at work and just started asking questions and not even letting me talk. they were asking about someone other than myself and when I wouldn't answer and asked who they were they would not answer and kept asking question and then hung up.Very rude.
I got a call from this number today, I did not answer since I did not recognize the #. But they did leave a message and were asking if a certain person was my relative. What is this company?
They just called saying they were looking for a certain name at this address (they had our address correct...) but there is no one of the name stated here, so I started asking who they were and he said he was from Provost and I asked what would make them call here for that name and he said that was confidential and we ended the call.
I got a call from this number claiming to be from the "bank", from the "mortgage". The spanish speaking woman, (being spanish my native language), called me by my firstname, and told me, she wanted to update my address. I hung up.
Called my home today around noon. How/where they got my home number, I don't know but that really bothers me. Didn't leave a message. Called the number to inquire as to the identity of the number to no avail. I'd like to know who else I could report them to because I smell a scam, or at the very least an invasion of privacy.
My neighbor just received a message today from 888-519-0028 stating that they were trying to get in touch with me? Very strange! I don't even know my neighbor's phone number???
said they were representing banks, mortgage company and attorneys and they needed to update mailing address.Sounds fishey to me.
Received a message from Provest. Said they were looking for my husband; could barely understand the woman's muffled voice. Googled and found the business online. I called my mortgage company because we have been a little behind, but have had good communication. Mortgage company said that it was not originating from them and told me not to give Provest ANYTHING. My mortgage company in fact, told me to be very careful.
