They called trying to find out where my brother, David, lives now. It is for a Wells Fargo home loan in foreclosure. The problem is that David is dead. He died back in June 2008. I think they are going to have a difficult time serving him with a lawsuit. He owed a lot of debts, but we are not responsible for any of them. We're not going to pay any of them.

they called my neighbor asking about me and the previous owner... I pay all my bills and we did a title search before we bought, so I have no idea what they want. Also, not sure why they called my neighbor when I'm in the book... just google me and I pop up...Whatever

Female voice called this morning, looking for my neighbor of 15 years. Being a disabled Veteran, I learned who watches my back. My answer to her was, "who did you say my neighbor was?"I then found this site.Thanks for comments.

I received a call from Provest LLC stating my mortgage company Wells Fargo requested Provest LLC call me and Wells Fargo would be calling me. I wonder what Wells Fargo Mortgage Servicing is up to now.

Received a strange call today from older female ... asked me who I was ... did not respond ... asked why they were calling ... she said that they were looking to contact someone. I told her she had the wrong number, and she said she would update her records ... but I felt that the whole phone call was strange, devious, not honest, deceiving ... my thoughts--Be Careful- Be Alert!

Yes "Defender". Provest is a very shady company. They don't care about their own people, much less anyone else. They are always trying to screw anyone anyway they can to make that buck. And their shareholders don't care about the people breaking their necks to jump through all their hoops. Hate them with a passion. All of their sub-contractors hate them but can't say anything because provest holds them with one-sided contracts that simply say - we'll do what we want and lower your pay and you just do what we say or we'll put you and your employees out of business. Yes, they suck.

I feel for you! They screwed me over also as a server for 12 years. Their so called managers/owners are out of control and run over everyone. My business will still be okay, but I had to lay off people who where my friends because Provest said they were "going in a different direction." I hope it's straight to hell. They most likely just have their tails between their legs and are running for the door as the state investigators are rolling in. The shareholders will sell out and get theirs though, you can be sure of that. They just screwed over a delivery service out of Tallahassee last month forcing them out of business.
