Provest called me in reference to the address of a very distant relative. I played dumb and they slammed the phone down. Since I am on the Nat'l "Do Not Call" list I reported them.

Received the phone call at my business looking for my brother in law

I recieved a phone call from provest today looking for my neighbor, i asked her why it was she was calling me and she told me that she no longer had a phone number on him and was wondering if i could give her any information about him. I asked her how she had got my number, because my number was unlisted, she proceeded to tell me that they cross referance addresses and came up with mine. I proceeded to tell her if you found my number then you should be able to find his. After a few choice words with her, i told her to loose my number and stop calling me loooking for him, my neighbors financial business is none of my business.

I used to employed by them also and as far as I am concerned, there is so much illegal things they are doing it is sad. Do not answer, they can be extremely rude and offensive. They do work for all the major banks (all the ones collapsing now) and hopefully thy will get investigated just like the banks are currently. I wait for the day they are shut down!

I used to wrok for them and if they are contacting your place of business you can file harrassment. They are not supposed to contact anyone at their place of employment!!!!!!!!

I got a call from the same company. Said they were hired by another company to verify my info. Said they wanted to verify my info and gave an address in NV AND gave the last four digits of a SSN. She wanted me to verify this. It wasn't even my SSN nor have I ever lived at the NV address. I told her I would give out any info on me, that I didn't know her from Adam and everything she had asked me wasn't true. I told her to take my name and number off there list. She told me she couldn't because it was part of a data base. This kind of company is a PI type of company. Be very careful with them. They shouldn't be trusted. You don't know who is wanting your info and what they want to do with the info. I'd like to know who else I can report them too!!!!!

Got a call today from this number. Came up on my Caller ID. This company was trying to verify my SSN, If I lived in another State and so on.I wasn't even the person they were looking for!!!Be very careful of call's like this. I told them to remove me from there list and got some sort of an excuse about being in a data base and they couldn't. B.S.!!!!!!!!!Look Out

Got a call today from Provest LLC. I wasn't home and they left a message saying they had some money for a relative of mine and to please call them back. The first name of the supposed relative matched one of my relatives, but the last name I never heard of. The woman mumbled the name of the company so badly, I couldn't make it out. Caller ID caught it.

They called my house and left a message that was kinda shady as well. The woman stated that they were looking for possible relatives of an Elmer Mintchell or Mitchell not sure which one she said. the call back number was 18885190028 and extension 3674. I just laughed and deleted the message. I have never heard of this name. Beware is a good idea and great advice. Elmer they are looking for you. :)
