I am getting this call every other day.Its an automated message .. I made sure CITi bank has no cards on me.. they ask SSN !!Can anyone tell how can we avoid this

Some nice gentleman called and I placed him on hold until he hung up. Hey, the music wasn`t that bad, I`m sure I almost got him to sleep. Anyways, Yeah, ... these people call and I , ... as nice as I am, I professionally leave them hanging just to run "their" bill as high as it can go, while they listen to some soothing music. [***], quit freaking calling, get a real job and stop harrazing us, the hard working people.

I did the same thing. I placed them on hold while I watched ESPN. I could not miss the scores from last night. GO Rangers, ... and take the Cowboys with you. I have gotten 3 calls in the last 5 days from these clowns and they have yet to understand that when I am watching ESPN I cannot be bothered. Does anyone know how long it takes to get to Memphis from Dallas?What everyone should when asked your social, give them the same numbers from which they are calling, without telling them its their phone number.

Called and did not awnser! I dont have a citibank anything so I am not awnsering. Is that the right thing to do?? They called at 9:00am and i looked it up on reverse phone search and it is a land line from Texas.

I read online today that collection agencies are not supposed to call you on your cell phone unless you have given them permission to do so, and can violate laws if they use certain methods to do so. Try researching it on google - I cannot remember where I saw it & already cleared my cache. I found it by using the search term 'northstar' - which I have learned today is just another scum collection agency. Good luck!

They called my cell phone and did not leave a message, they then called my work number and I answered. They said who they were and I told the lady that this was my work and that I could accept these calls at work and to call me on my cell/home number in which she replaied she has left messages. Lie number 1 as she just called my cell and did not leave a message. I love caller ID. If I don't know the number it does not get answered.

Forget to mention they were calling about an old Texaco gas card that is past the SOL. Has nothing to do with Citi Bank or Citifinancial Auto.

CTI called and for wife ,she would not tell me anything and hung up If they wqant thier money they can talk to me also

Got a call at work for this number and a woman (who could barely speak understandable English) and said that I MUST contact them in regards to my loan with citi. No clue who they are or what they want but I'm sure it WON'T benefit me in ANY way.
