Calling at all times of the day and night. This time, finally leaving a call-back number and stating that their calling from citi-financial auto. Very annoying. Thirty or more calls a day. if they would leave a message from the first call, they might actually get people that would call back and resolve the matter, but all these calls and no message. Freaking idiots.

Received a call asking for a relative, saying they were listed as a reference on a job application for verification of address, etc. I don't know how they got my number. Told my relative so that they could call CitiBank and report it. I believe it is some kind of scam to get info on people.

Called asking for information on how to get ahold of a friend of mine. I am pretty sure that all the credit card applications that I have had over that last 30 years have not included a "who are your friends" and "who can I call if you won't answer your own phone so I can annoy the crap out of them" blank to fill out.

Ok-a friendly young sounding African American male faxed me an offer to lower my personal loan to 1% interest at a reduced payment rate, after calling me repeatedly for two weeks-don't know how he got my cell number. It got a little strange when he offered to get money out of his own personal account so that I would take the deal-he called me from a cell phone. The number above came up on the caller id as CTI (not Citi). Yikes!I don't think I even have a loan from citibank. Where can a person report this stuff?

These people are calling me on behalf of someone else and won't stop.

I have been getting a call from this number several times in the last 3 months, but I never answer calls that I'm not familier with. Now that I know its a scam I think I will answer and have a little fun. lol

A big thanks to all of the posts here. I got a call and did not say hello. They waited and then said hello like conecting from a phone bank. Not sure what they wanted since we do not do business with Citi-Bank and never will. They are a rotten bank.

Glad this site exisited - I called them and upon the woman asking for my CC number (from Citi Bank) I told her - no - I reported you and then she hung up!

Have gotten a call daily fom this number, which is supposedly Citicard. Now they have switched to a new number,859-283-3677. I think this is a scam, since I have no business with Citicard.
