They let it ring 5 times and then disconnected. Caller ID said it was from Convington, LA. This was the first time I have received a call from this number.
This number just called a few minutes ago. Asked for my wife. I said Can I give her a message? A female on the other end said; "No message." and hung up before I could ask further questions.
Call hang up at 1105 AM PST. For those of you upset that you are on the DNC list and they call. Hellllooo --- you are blonde? Crooks do not abide by laws. One of the med alert scam that we got calls from nonstop the past two years has finally been caught and is shut down. However, there are a couple of copy cats of that scam. If these jerks change the number every month, it is difficult to track them. if you do not report every call you get, then they can now narrow in on them. Showing anger because the "system" does not work is just plain silly. When have crooks and thieves abided by any system? Oh, forgot -- common sense. So gone here. Report them and let elderly and infirm know to never answer the phone or interact with these perverts. That is their target, not the ones like you who scream and yell like spoiled brats. They love that, makes their day. They make the bucks by number of calls they interact with remember. Oh, you didn't know that either? Elections over, holidays here, scam time. Do not let these bad people ruin your month of legally spending money.
Only message left was a "beep", then "goodbye." We're also on the don't call list however, I understand if they're listed as a charity (501c ?) they're exempt. Maybe we should ask ,if we ever get a real person, how to sign up to receive funds from their group? Bet they'd hang up real quick. :)
