I have received at least a dozen calls to my cellular telephone from 1-989-854-2368 over the past 2 months and have insisted each time that the company representative remove me from the call list. Obviously, this has had no effect as I continue to receive calls. I have now stopped answering the calls, but would like the unwanted disturbances to STOP!!! I have even made attempts to explain to the representatives that I do not have ANY credit card debt and would not be in need of their service in any way...still no effect. When I ask to speak to a manager or inquire about the name of the company, the call is disconnected.
When I receive repeat unwanted calls on my cell phone, I add the number to my contacts list and set the ring tone to "no ring".
Received a call from them 52 minutes ago...Some telemarketer or scam artist wanting info to lower your credit card debt. I hung up as I want no part in their business. I wish these calls would stop! They are burning my minutes... Is there any way to have my provider AT&T block them? They seem to change numbers when they call..
It's a cell phone from Mt. Pleasant Michigan. I used reverse lookup. You have to pay to get the name. They did'nt feel it important enough to leave a message. I had a repeat call before from a weird #. I looked it up and it gave me the name of the person but when you called the number back it said it was not a working number but I continue to get incoming calls. It should be against the law for them to not be able to identify themselves. Bill collectors can change their numbers to be listed as an area code that you are in. They have been doing that for a couple years.
