Robo call about lowering credit card interest rates. I don't have a CC balance anyways!

I have received around 10 to 12 calls this week. That is NOT telemarketing. It is harrassment! I've started sending in complaints again but, so far, it hasn't done any good. Why can't our congressmen stop their inane bickering and pass legislation to fine so called Credit Card Services for contacting people who are on the do not call list after they've been asked to stop harrassing them with their constant calls? If they fined these people $1,000.00 for each violation, they could make several hundred thousand dollars a day. But I guess that's petty cash to congress.

I received a call from this number. They didn't leave a message. Obviously it wasn't important. I'm also on the DNC list.

These Jerks are spam call ALL of my families Cell Phones; WORK AND HOME. This is ridiculous that they cannot be shut down. What is wrong with law enforcement that they allow criminals to openly operate? These people are obviously commiting fraud!!!

I just hit answer and lay the phone down.....they hang up!

Just called me right before class. I answered too late, so I called back thinking it may have been important. Had a full voicemail box and I couldn't make out the name but sounded like a man. I'm sure it is just some annoying telemarketer. Although I am signed up on the do not call list, these people will still call you and waste your time.

Credit Card Services- a robodialer calls cell phone numbers with prerecorded message to press "1" to speak with an operator to lower your rate. They do not have any specific info, just a phishing scheme. When asked to remove number since it is on the do-not-call list, operator responds' " can't do that, you pressed "1" and you contacted me." That is their loophole around the do-not-call list. By pressing "1" you "contacted them." There rotate spoofed outgoing numbers, so it's impossible to block all of their calls. Filed complaints with the DNC and FCC.
