Guy from "Windows" called my cell phone number saying I had computer trouble. This scam was in the local paper a while ago. I'm surprised it's back.
Just got a call from this number. I did not answer and he/she didn't leave a message. Enjoyed reading people's responses below. Some responses were very clever.
Thank you all for your input! I did not answer as I didn't recognize the number. No message left, will add to the ever expanding rejection list.
I like that response. I tyoically ask them to hold on for a minute and then but the telephone down. Otherwise I let them tell me my computer is sending error messages then I said great, I like doing that.

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.
BOBBY BROWN SAID I WON $750,000 AND 2026 BMW. I NEED TO GO TO WALMART AND GET A $500 GREEN DOT CARD THEN CALL THEM BACK AND THEY WOULD BRING ME $750,00 IN CASH AND MY 2026 BMW. THEY NEW THE STATE AND ADRESS WHERE I LIVE
Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.

Shoplc. I don’t mind them calling if I have a problem but they called me 3 times in past 3 days to fill out survey they emailed. If I wanted to fill it out, I would have, I don’t need calls, plus I did fill one out but am still getting calls.
