999-999-9999 / 9999999999

I received a call from 999-999-9999 today

I notice that there are at least 41 solid pages of responses re this issue so this phenomenon has apparently become pandemic....yes, so far, I have received but one and only one all-9s call and that was on the 1st of August, none since...underneath, the LCD display read "NAME NOT FOUND". I have a Gibraltar solid policy of refusing to answer any call whose exchange I don't recognize or whose caption, if one shows on the monitor. If any of these callers wish to speak with me that badly, they can leave a message, otherwise, and in so many words, screw them dead.....I don't care if it's Hilarity Clinton or the Geo Bush Library in Dallas or who or what the Hell it is or claims to be. I can't speak for anyone else but from my own personal experience, the Do Not Call list DOES in fact work for me very well and if you would invest in a caller ID working in tandem with an answering machine, let them do the work. Just don't answer anything you don't recognize anymore than you would answer your front door in the middle of the night and throw it wide open if you didn't know who was on the opposite side.

My daughter has just received calls on her cell from the 9999999999 number twice in the last hour. This last time she answered it, and it was some lady trying to sell her tea. ?! LOL "Sorry," she said. "I hate tea." and hung up.

Same here.. The "killer" 999-999-9999 Just Called.. they dont know who their pucking with in this house... Muuuuwhaaaaaaa!!!!

Constant calls from this number--apparently a spoof.

I get this call 2 times a day and wish it would stop I have not answered any of them in the last two weeks

I have gotten 3 calls from this number in 1 1/2 years. on my landline phone.Within 1 week of each call, I lost a loved one. Really scared and spooked I thought they were calls from heaven. Just happy to know, everyone else are getting calls and the number doesn't mean death. whew.!
