OMFG! I CALLED THIS 999 999 9999 NUMBER BACK! IT WAS THE NY POLICE! lmao. the guy answered and goes "Hello what is your amergency and locationa nd what burrough are you in?"i got freaked and quietly said "sry wrong number"but if this number calls me one more time in class im going to screem!!!

For the past year or so I have been receiving unknown calls to my cell.From 5 to 40 a day. I have three police reports. They say I am not in danger so it is not a priority. I used call filtering software but the third party software seems to be damaging my phone. They appear on my bill as 999-999-9999. If I answer I hear a dialing noise. I signed up for trap call they can not unmask 999-999-9999. I signed up for you mail which answers and asks the unknown caller to enter thier number. Because of this feature I can see it is dialing 200 and my land line number. Is there a way to find out who is doing this to me...I have elderly parents so changing my number is not an option. PLEASE Help..

got this call 999-999-9999. called them back, message said i can't dial this number but i heard music in the back ground. 30 min later got call back. i answerd told them they are calling a bussiness to put me on their do not call list. so far so good. every one of you guy's need's to call your phone provider and tell them if they don't do somthing about these calls that were goind to change providers

My son is getting calls from 999-999-9999 on MY cell phone. The first woman gave me a number to call back. They say they are trying to serve my son and gave me a number and case number for him to call back. I'll be willing to bet good money if he calls back, they will tell him if he puts x amount of $ on his credit card, then he won't be served. This is a scam. These people get your name, address and number off the internet and then try to say they are trying to serve you and will someone be home over the age of 18 who can sign. In my son's case, he hasn't lived at the address they are saying they are trying to serve him at for over 3 years. Beware!!!

how do you know it is a spoof... How can we unspoof...

Have been recieving called from this number. It is a sales call during the morning, afternoon and evening. I pick up the telephone to confirm. It was a Tele-Marketing from ScanSoft (Dragon Naturally-Product line) now Nuance, 1 Wayside Rd, Burlington, Ma 01803, phone 781565 5000 fax 781 565 5001 or the WEB. FYI, Yes I use there product but that might change! If they can't show thier information, "What Are They Trying To Hid?"

Wife has numerous of these on the bill.

we have been getting the 999999999 number on our cell bill and in the desc it has the numbers 0000003019 .. i've called my cell carrier who is Verizon and get told that its a blocked number ( they say they cant trace it .. BS they just choose not to ) an they dont know what the 0000003019 goes to .. i'd really like to find out what or who is doing this .. HELP !!!
