Got my phone bill for the 10 15 15 800 number....7:45 with taxes and all. Just got off the phone with ILD billing (Jenny) who took my information and said she would immediately credit my phone number,put a block on it for their directory assistance and that was it. Five minutes, tops.Now to wait and see if it is actually off my next bill.To be continued...?

Better check your credit report! I checked mine and had an inquiry from 1-800-854-6000. I called the number to see why they were inquiring in my credit report. I was referred to call 10-15-15-8000 at a charge of $4.95!

i also got my bill and was charged 7.28 for this number am on the phone right now with verizon first gave me another number to call recording hung up called verizon back got another run around passed from this person to that telling the same story! after an hour and pissed off i demaned they take it off so they did and i got a block put on they said i needed so this would not happen again also the girl said they get this from this number all day long WTF why then are they allowing this. am going to change my phone to comcast this week and also i'll be saving 25.00 a month it just became available

We were charged a "directory assitance" from OAN. Never called the number or recieved the number. Verizon took it off with no questions asked and blocked the number. They have to know about it by now so why does Verizon continue to participate in this fraud?

Just received my Verizon bill with a $16.36 charge for OAN (2 directory assistance calls). I called OAN and became suspicious when they immediately agreed to send a credit to Verizon. Then I looked on the net and found many sites like this one about the scam. Why can't to government force the phone companies to cancel their phone numbers and shut them down. I am sending a copy of my bill to the local FBI field office and the Florida Attorney General.

on my verizon bill under "other providers" on 4/12/08 at 3:19 pm for 1 min for $5.49 after taxes $7.36I called their 800-944-0171 help number and they are removing chargetheir explanation was that somebody called an 800 number that does not exist, and a recording telling us that we should call (area code).555.1212 My case area code was nevada - 702. continuing they explain that a recording advising you of charges will apply and you can then call 101 515 8000. I do not remember such call. Something smells here. I asked them not to accept anything from my phone account.

Today, I called my finiancial institution using their 1-800 number. On my first try, instead of getting them, I got a recorded message stating that there is a new international directory or something for $9.99, available if I dialed 10-15-15-8000. I did not call the number. I hung up and dialed the financial institution's number again (same number I dialed before) and got my financial institution. I also believe this is a scam.

Rec'd several recorded telemarketing calls on cell phone from 310-464-0337, (not the co's actual ph. #). Dialed "1" when prompted was connected to an operator. Asked for supervisor and was told he was busy and wouldn't want to hear my "nonsense". Dialed co's primary no. on bbb co detail page (800) 931-9961, and got a recorded message to dial 101-515-8000 which is a pay per minute scam.

I received a charge of $7.14 from 101-515-8000 and called the800-731-8000 and questioned how this charge was posted to myphone account.I was told "someone" had to enter a ACCESS # in order to usethis number. Credit information was taken on 4/25/08 and theCity received a full refund dated 4/28/08.I called Verizon and asked if they could block our phone fromreceiving these charges and was told NO.

I Had a charge for $7.45 on my AT&T bill, Spoke with Matt at ILD teleservices about this charge that was made on a day and time that we are all working and no one is home. this is some type of directory assistance service, the only thing is that the day and time this call was made according to their records our caller id show an incoming call with an unknown caller
