Just started receiving calls yesterday. When I saw the number, I decided not to pick up. Just received the second call about 40 minutes ago, and I ignored it, again. The phone rings only four times each call and stops. I heard something about this number months ago in an email, but I cannot remember what it was about!My advise to all: Never just pick up your phone when it rings!! Always check the ID. That's the reason for its invention.
I'm in Toronto. After regularly getting calls from this number I finally picked up. It was Primus telemarketers trying to sell me a plan (they called it a courtesy call btw). I blasted them for hiding their identity and the calls stopped for about 3 days. Now it's back.
Today (3-23-15) I received 4 phone calls from 1234567890.I have NO idea who this is.I want this to cease now.
Two calls from this number in Ontario, one yesterday and one today. Picked up both times, line is always dead.
Just called..I answered, no one there. Now after reading these post I will never pick up again!I picked up because i thought that sometimes people calling from a computer phone come up with that number..but I'm not sure.
This number was is a number that stole my Apple ID and changed all my info and put his info, this is the phone number he had associated with a credit card he added to my account. He had a different phone number for his profile name and number. When I googled the other number it pulled up a different name than that on the profile page. So Beware somehow he took over my account instantly and it took me 3 weeks to get it back.
got a call around 1pm today in ontario from 123-456-7890 answered it unknowingly as i work nights and phone beside my head, i was sleeping. Dead air.Saw the weird number on the phone later then later around 3pm got an automated call from a company1(213)-732-2036 telling me i was chosen for a vacation getaway to Cancun and Orlando at a special price. It said to find out more details press 1. I didn't. I'm guessing they are linked.
They use a Seattle, Washington area code(Microsoft HQ) before this new 1234567890. So watch out for those phone numbers, because they're the same scams/con/criminal jerks!

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
