Just an FYI. this same type of thing happened to me about 3 years ago with men with Indian accents. About 2-3 weeks after filing complaints with FCC and FBI, I was sent an email with a news briefing about a money scam ring they busted up originating out of Chicago. Keep filing complaints with them. Otherwise they will not look into anything for only 1 or 2 calls.

My credit score must have gone up cause the calls are coming in again in the last week calls from these numbers802-284-4139207-710-0712762-208-3386same crap and call my house. yesterday it was twice in one day.

IJoyetteKeep getting calls from 207- 710- 0712 Biddeford Maine comes up on caller ID. Something about 2 fraudulent activity attached to my SSN and I will be served a summons. Was worried at first as had these calls about 4 years ago. But they were more threatening, Filed 2 reports with the police department where I live. They then became more aggressive and I paid them as I got scared. Not that naïve anymore researched the phone number and saw all scam as the people on the website messages were word for word. I have filed complaints with the police department in Biddeford Maine, the FCC as well as the FTC as I am also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. Not that the could find the A** Holes. They stopped calling for about two weeks but then today they left another message, my fiancé jokingly said something the other day your friends having called in awhile. My credit score must have went up. Just want the calls to stop as they are still upsetting even though I know its a scam. My elderly mother just becomes very upset. Anybody have any ideas how to get the calls to stop. Maybe a call blocking device, but they can be expensive.

These [***] keep calling me too, at different numbers. I block one number and they call me from another. I know they are scammers. They should be ashamed of themselves. Im sure their parents must be proud, trying to scam people out of their own money. Hey scammers, if you are reading this, take my damn number off your list!

These people actually sent a foreigner with a fake badge to my old job 2,000 miles away in another state! Thankfully the receptionist knew the badge was fake, and she called police. He left after he left this phone number! I am in no debt and never even taken out a loan. They asked for me by my maiden name which hasn't been used in over 6 years.The police said these people have access to old bank records somehow and are scamming people who have ever overdrawn a bank account. I haven't overdrawn a bank account since I was 18!! They are in another country using spoof caller ID, and have only a few scammers in certain states in the U.S. DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AND TELL THEM YOU WILL FILE A POLICE REPORT!

Shell, I hope you dont give them any information. If you were really in trouble with the law in any form or shape, they are not going to waste time with phone calls. Dont bother answering as I have friends who are getting calls from the same number you have posted and its in a Biddeford, ME.

Already called me twice. Saying u am going to get a summons ect..

These people called my cell phone, my home phone and showed up with a sticky note on my door!! I have NO warrants. I'm a librarian....I'm going to get my lawyer....for them to get off my back!! I don't owe them any money!!!!

They called and left a message on my wife's phone and said that I had 2 fraud count and that they were going to contact my employer. Like the others have stated, I called back and got put on hold. Since I haven't committed fraud, This has got to be a fake.

Glad to see people ARE posting and warning others. My call from these scammers came for my daughter-in-law using her maiden name. So strange! The scammer call does sound pretty authentic with the digital voice to read the case number and the phone number. Thought I'd call the local police dept, and then the local TV news dept that has the guy (Terko Files) that takes on personal cases and airs the results on TV... Any other suggestions on how to get rid of these bottom feeders?
