Kept calling, finally answered. They asked if I could answer some questions and I didn't say anything. I remained completely silent. The guy kept saying hello for almost 5 minutes straight before he finally hung up lol. Every time they call I'm going to just set the phone down and let them wonder what happened lol
When I answered my phone and said hello, there was no answer from their end then they hung up.
I JUST GOT A CALL FROM 208-376-3376 AND THIS PERSON IDENTIFIED HER SELF AS WORKING FOR THE BOARD OF HEALTH & CDC ! WAS ASKING QUESTIONS AND SAYING THAT THEY WERE DOING A SURVEY FOR THE ABOVE AND THEY ASKED IF MY NUMBER WAS A CELL....AND I JUST HUNG UP!
I JUST GOT THE SAME CALL! I'M ON HOLD RIGHT NOW REPORTING THIS! AND THEN I'M GOING TO CALL THE POLICE
I just got a call, they claimed they were from the NY dept of health. I asked where they had my cell number from. Supposedly randomly chosen. Asked me two questions, age and number verification. Then if this was a private residence. I said no comment. They backed off and hung up. How do I know they don't want to break in here. And where do they have my cell number from?
I NEVER give private information to someone I do not know over the phone unless I have called them. It is poor personal security to do so. Additionally, only my doctor needs the sort of medical information they are asking for. Something else to keep in mind, the same way we have searched the number and put a name to this company, is the same way, in many cases, that they can search our numbers and put our medical information with a name. Do you want that?

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
