Unsolicited calls to my cell phone. Sent letter demanding to be removed from their system.

These people are idiots. They call mid-day late and early evening and never talk. I answer the call and it sounds like someone is trying to hang up by pressing the receiver button. They don't leave messages, just annoy us everyday 3-4 times a-day. I called the number and asked to have my number taken off their list. The woman I spoke to was very nice and apologized. She said they are doing research for the health dept., but will take care of the problem.

This number has called me and it is getting annoying, my childrens school uses the number to call me for emergencys, so naturally when it rings and I miss it I see that there is a voice mail, the last time, the person on the other ending was coughing, gagging and throwing up....

It's sad to see everyone complain about all this. These people were contracted out by Health Departments (your health departments) to provide a service to you and allow you to help shape health policies for your state and yet all you do is complain. Also you guys cite the Do Not Call list. Look into what it actually covers instead of just complaining about it. It doesn't cover telephone calls of a surveying nature. If you really want the calls to stop either do the survey or call in, be nice and ask to not participate in the survey. If you really don't like getting these calls unplug your phone.

Because the government/state agency contracted with a research company to do the work--these companies are overseen by ethics boards and must pass strict standards. Kind of like the Department of Defense contracts with various "out-of-state" companies. But you don't ask why someone out of your state is, for instance, developing military defense systems.Come on, people. We are all Americans--get a grip.

These people are ingornant arrogant and condescending.The ywill not go away they call repeatedly saying sometimes they are calling on behalf of the PA Department of Health and sometimes CDC. I insist they stop calling and tell them I am ont he do not call list.They still insist they have the right to call.This is riduculous that my state may be wasting tax payer money on these people.
