Get a t call blocker on Amazon, so worth it.. If, don't have computer, go to your reference department of library and have them print out call blocker companies. Best I've found.HQ TELECOM.com16562 NW 83rd PlaceHialeah, FL 33016(786) 221 5997Fax: 786) 221-5997T-lock Call Blocker Version N2Product code: ct-cid 803Got Call, don't leave message. Then when you call back Google subscriber, not available, really! Hmm. Please tell why you bothered our home? Comcast sold their phone list. NEVER buy anything from someone who bothers the house, EVER. Citizens don't know who really anyone is that solicits calls. Also, could be sham, scam. My phone number, not their's and solicitors don't pay my bills. Quit bothering..
Seems to be the Season of Scammers. Started rec'g calls this week, again, by the dozen. They are using this # plus numbers with 559 area codes. Don't answer just block them
They called, and they were blocked. I called the number and got "The number you dialed is not a working number".Once, again, a scam.
Received a call from these Indian scum (209-631-2059) who stated they, "Microsoft" Tech Support, had received notice from my computer of serious virus infections and that my computer would shut down after 200 boot-ups. They offered to install anti-virus software for $399, then for $199, then for $99 which I was supposed to pay for via PayPal MyCash Scratchable Card available at neighborhood CVS, which they knew the address. I told them I was unemployed and that the only way I could get to a CVS was to walk there and would take about an hour. They didn't give a [***] that I was unemployed or even that I was recovering from a bad fall. They then said they could prove my computer was sending them messages because they had my computer number, which the guy read correctly back to me, with me not even giving out any of the characters! How did they have my computer's ID number? The guy then gave me a link to a 3rd party software which would connect our computers and he would download the software. After gaining entry to my computer (I Am SO STUPID!), he showed me the main "virus" on my computer that was slowing and infecting all my files (csrss.exe) which he tried to erase without success. He then told me to go get the PayPal card and began to clean my computer and which I could see all of my files showing up on a command screen. Too late I realized he was downloading all of my files into his computer - ALL of them. The strange thing is that, before I was able to cut off the connection (unfortunately I had to go to the bathroom), the guy downloaded CCleaner and Piriform Defraggler onto my computer. I am very familiar with these two software because not only did Avast! Tech Support previously used them (when I agree to pay for their Premium Monthly Services), the CCleaner erased many essential files (both docs and software) and the Avast! Tech Support, plus 2 of their "supervisors" were unable to retrieve anything! Yet this Indian guy not only loaded these two software, hijacked all of my files, and the CCleaner erased additional software from my computer (pre-loaded so I didn't have a copy), more files which I am slowly finding are gone, and when I rebooted my computer, it could not get to the main screen, just the "Vaio" primary screen. One thing, when speaking to the first heavily-accented Indian guy, he said he was calling from Modesto, but when he transferred me to his "supervisor", the supervisor said he was in Arizona. Both guys I spoke to had very heavy Indian (Hindu) accents and had to be asked to repeat some of their questions, plus in the background you could hear more guys talking to other victims. So these SOB's hijacked my files, erased my files, and now I am using my neighbor's old laptop in order to post this warning, to report to Microsoft, to the FBI, to the Stockton/Merced police departments, and to this list - which I Wished I knew existed before I allowed these MF's to rape my machine! At least I did not send them any money! They called me a total of 27 times on May 18th, so this shows just how persistent they can be!Thanks to All of you who have posted and provided very important information! I just wish I had known of this list - and others - before becoming another stupid victim! :(
Tina, the same happened to me! Except I was STUPID enough to actually allow them ("Microsoft") to use the Team Viewer and connect with my computer. :( Not only did they access and download my files, but they installed CCleaner and Piriform Defraggler which, on my machine and which I discovered before closing the link, that it erased both software and documents on my computer! After re-booting, my computer did not go back to the main screen, only to the Vaio primary screen. So, not only did these heavily-accented Indian scum bags hijack all of my files, but they erased files, and crashed my computer. The thing which still surprises me that, like you, they not only had my IP ID, but they read back to me my computer's number, and which I never even gave the guy one single digit! He even told me how to access my command screen so that I could read along as he read it! Where did they obtain this information? He also said that my computer was infected by a very serious virus (csrss.exe) and he even tried to erase it from the Task Manager. Now, I have No files, I primarily needed my computer for school and for sending resumes (I've been unemployed for 3 years), and I have been forced to use my neighbor's old laptop, which I am very grateful for. :*(Don't be taken in by these Scum Bags! I have No idea where they obtained my information (I can only guess they were prior employees of Microsoft - or even have relatives working at Microsoft), and they are using this information to extort money and hijack computers. They were Very Interested that I had my bank information in my computer, which they were more happy to "protect" with their software.Take care. :( I will continue to kick myself for being So Stupid!
I unfortunately answered and gave into this guys rant about my computer having a virus. He then patched me through to his higher up supervisor or someone that was a woman. Mind you while this call was taking place the guy told me to go to this website that's called "www.Teamveiwer.com" from this website he then had me click on this link that allowed him complete control of my computer and he was clicking on things and reading them off to me as he clicked on them. He even had me read stuff back to him to confirm what he was doing. I became regretful and suspicious of his activity. He then patched me over to a woman whom I presumed to be his Manager of sorts. She was telling me the same [***] and that she was going to try to help me remove this trojan virus from my computer and that it had affected my computer and any other synced devices I.E. my tablet and phone. I already was getting uncomfortable about my decision. Finally I was waiting for her to pitch a price at me and of course it was $500.00 to buy virus protection and spyware and blah blah blah. She had told me that there were two Established servers that were unknown to my computer from Nigeria and one from New Mexico. I became upset with her proposal and said that I have no money right now for that kind of thing and that I don't trust giving out my information even though I probably already did. The hackers were telling me that I was being hacked while they were hacking me at the same time. PLEASE HELP ME lol I have no idea if I'm being hacked or not. lol THIS IS [***] UP!!!
Called from Technical support of Microsoft to update my computer. If there is need to upgrade then he will charge otherwise free. I told will check with Microsoft technical department and will call back, hang up the computer. fraud Fraud
