Got the call today.... again... I say again because these Bozos with the heavy Indian (East Indian) accent have bug me in the past. This time I had a called ID of Padpad Esperanz. I had heard that this, or one similar, got busted. I dopped a few major rips and F-Bombs and he hung up. I expect in a day or two I will have to do it again... With Microsoft being in about 80% of the computers world wide, and poor Apple still trying to break 8%, it is easy for them to just call random numbers and assume the computer in the house will be Windoz based. I could have been nice and said I had a Mac, or running Linux, but them I would not have had the fun of being abusive to these creeps... I be bad.. You can be do.... It is a scam and then need to be abused and shut down..
Yeah this is SCUM at the lowest calls and if I answer the SCUM hangs up When I call back he is too YELLOW to answer that is why he is the lowest form of SCUM.
What the heck is a 'Padpad Esperanz'? I never answer but they call again and again and again. I've run out of the number of blocked calls allowed on my phone line and I refuse to buy a caller blocker. These guys have got to be stopped. I have gotten 14 calls in 6 hours followed by another 8 the next day. I think there are only one or two of these fraud businesses because they seem to call me every 1/2 hour. That can't be coincidence. Need to contact the state attorney general.
There was no answer when I picked up. By reading your comments, now I know it who it is/are they.
Didn't answer this call and glad I didn't after reading all of this. I don't think that they should have the right to call on weekends, but nobody will stop them. I am unable to block anymore number so just have to deal with it, until I have time to delete some of them. I in the past have gotten calls regarding the same scam but just blocked or ignored them. I guess I will have to eventually buy a call blocker since nothing can be done about it. Just wished it would stop since it is a BIG hassle especially since I have a disabled husband to deal with and it seems every time I finally get him asleep they call and disturb him. Oh well such is life
Yup, got the same call from that number with the same caller ID.Claimed Microsoft was getting error messages from my machine. When I asked what IP address, he claimed (and I'm still laughing about this) that it was not from my IP address but from my machine. He gave me a key to look up (888DCA60-FC0A-11CF-8F0F-00C04FD7D062) and offered to "help me find it". Google that key and we can both have a nice little laugh.Anyway, don't fall for this scam artist.
i had the same experience just now. When i asked the guy to read back my IP address, he hung up. Pure scam, no doubt about it.
Called at 9:08am. Very thick accent. Man claimed to be from Microsoft, asked if I was on my computer. It sounded like he was outside or in a market, definitly not a call center. I told him I did not have any computers with Microsoft and then he tried to ask my about my Apple computers. I hung up.
Lady with accent called saying she was from windows...etc. Received calls all this week 2-4 times a day everyday. Told the idiot, I do not have windows and am very tired of these harassing calls. Told her to lose my number or I would file a lawsuit against them. She hung up, then had the oddasity to call back. My husband answered and then call was hung up. What human garbage. SCAMMERS, do not give then any info or try any suggestions they ask, this is how they hack information.
