This annoying guy continues to call over the past week for an employee that no longer works here. He tries to argue w/me so I just hang up on him.
WELL JUST FOR STARTERS I AM POSTING THIS THROUGH ONE OF THE COMPANIES THAT HAVE ENGAGED STERLING FOR BACKGROUND VERIFICATIONS, ITS AN BACKGROUND SCREENING COMPANY AND IS COMPLETEDLY A LEGIT FIRM. IT DOES NOT SELL ANYTHING UNLESS YOU ARE REFERRED AND MOST CALLS ARE FOR VERIFICATION ONLY AFTER ANY OF YOUR SUBORDINATE OR A CO WORKER HAS GIVEN YOUR NUMBER, THE COMPANY ALSO CERTAIN TIMES DOES NOT LEAVE VOICE MESSAGES AS SOME OF THEIR CLIENTS HAVE POLICIES NOT ALLOWING THEM TO DO SO, THUS SOME PEOPLE GET VM'S AND OTHERS DONT. ALSO IT IS ONE OF THE LEADING INSTITUTIONS FOR BACKGROUND SCREENING.
Heavy accent on a man calling about an past employee. Has called my home phone and now my cell. Says he is needing info for the company that my employee has applied at. Don't give out any info. This is a fraudulent call.
I don't believe this. You probably work for this company and are trying to make it appear legit. My past employee now works for a big corporation. InfoSystems keeps calling and wanting info on that person. The customer relatons department (of this big corpporation) was asked if they use InfoSystems and they said "ABSOLUTELY NOT". AGAIN, don't give these people any information.
This number keeps calling and they don't say anything. It's annoying. So I called them back and no one answered
They left a message on our company voicemail asking us to call back or email them to verify a past employee's employment dates (someone employed by us over 3 years ago). I didn't call back because the person's Indian accent was so thick I could barely understand the message. I did email the address on their website asking for a formal request on their letterhead with the employee's signature approving the request. I finally received the formal request, but they keep calling. Atleast three times just today.... I'm sure the company would seem more legit and people would be more open to talking with them if they spoke english more clearly.

they keep calling me asking if i am or know sombody
"Greater Nevada Credit Union Fraud Prevention" called and left message. We called bank directly, no prob with our cards or account. Incidentally, we always get a bunch of scam calls after posting something to Craigs List or FB Market Place.

This number comes up as a match to my name on Microsoft search results, and with a different age than MY true age. There is no other ME who has the same first, middle and last name spelled like this that I EVER came across. It's definitely a scam!

Scotia bank fraud Dept calling about a change to my account
I just tried to log into my SS account and could see that this number was trying to get a code to gain access. This country is OUTTA CONTROL. Hey Elmo is this you and your teen gang?
SCAM - Caller with Indian accent claimed to be calling from Barclays credit card fraud department. Asked for personal information. Just hang up.
This number made an unauthorized charge on my PAYPAL account. I had no dealings with them.
