It's FIA Card Services - a contractor of Bank of America. They keep calling me from this number, and Caller ID displays "Bank of America," but everytime I answer, there is just silence at the other end, and then the line gets disconnected. Really annoying. Today I took the time to call the number back, and the greeting said something like "Thank you for calling Bank of America," and then I was put on hold with annoying music for about 15 minutes while I waited for a rep. When a rep finally answered (and she spoke perfect English), she had me give her my phone number and, after presumably looking up whatever info is associated with my phone number, she said that the reason I'm on their call list is to thank me for my business. I asked her what business I'm being thanked for, and she said it could be a credit card, or a bank account, or anything else that I've done business with Bank of America over. (How do they not even know?!!) I do have a BofA credit card and checking account, but this makes me want to change banks. I asked her to put me on their Do Not Call list, and she said that I would need to give her my full name and mailing address. That really made me mad, since I feel like it's a ploy to harvest data from me. Yet if I don't give it, she claimed that I can't be added to their DNC list. (How is it possible that they don't have this info already if they are calling to thank me for being a BofA customer?!!) I felt like I had no choice to give her the requested info, but it really made me mad. We'll see if they call again ...

Got a call from this number today. Caller I.D. said Bank America. I could hear background noise but no one replied to my "hellos". After a while, they hung up. I called Bank of America where I have an account and was told this is not them nor anyone with legitimate business on behalf of Bank of America. They simply do not do business like this nor would they employ anyone who did.

They called several times and never left a message, but caller ID said Bank of America. Turns out it actually was them - I had recently gotten a new credit card that was through them, and they wanted to check that I got it and understood the rewards system. They were quite friendly.

I got a (missed) call from this number. I called them back, and got a recorded message "to call back during 8am-8pm eastern time. Since this is a Clevand, Ohio area code.....I think something stinks!

This company calls all the time, even when told/asked to take my number off the list.

I have also been receiving a daily call from this number for about two weeks now. As the other posts, they never leave a message. It is annoying.

saw I had a missed call from the number and when I called back I received a message "we are closed right now..." Very bizarre.

Same as the rest of you , they call and hang up or leave no message. FIA harrassment scam, fishing for personal info. Don't talk to them. I blocked their number.

CALLS ARE PERSISTENT ABOUT LOWERING MY INTEREST RATES. I HAVE PLAYED ALONG AND IT GETS TO THE POINT THEY START WANTING MY PERSONAL INFO. WHEN I REFUSE THEY JUST HANG UP.

I keep getting calls from this number. I do not know who it is. They call just about every evening around 7:30-8:00pm.
